I have received 3 calls from this number so far.  Two were in a short time frame and the other the next day.  It sounded like a kid talking (6 or 7 yrs. old), making no sense.  Also got a weird one from 000-000-0000, no message or noise on this one.  Sure hope this isn't one that steals your number and makes jillions of $ that you have to pay for

Call from known business associate in France.  My guess is they were using VOIP and the number was assigned locally to make the terminating voice connection.

Called number back and got number is not in service message.

they called me at 10.57 am and I tried to return the call and the recording said to check the number and redial......irritating!

I got a call from this number.  It was my husband calling from out of the country using Skype.

Yes  I also got a call from this number  and  the person said that  his name was Michael Richard Martin. the number came up as an international number.  I can only hope that  the person useing this number will go to jail.
I have also told my  local phone company about it  so I will not get  any  bills  from  it

got a call at 5AM. i thought it was my ex-girlfriend at first. pissed me off.

Got my call 7-5 @ 6:08 pm CST. Came up INTERNATIONAL. How do we stop this fraud?

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM AN UNKNOWN NUMBER AND THEN IT WAS FOLLOWED BY THIS # 214-586-0999.  IT IS FROM A RESORT IN MEXICO (WHERE WE JUST VISITED).  THE LADY WAS A SALES LADY WHO WE SPOKE WITH WHEN WE WERE THERE REGARDING A VACATION PACKAGE.

Signed up with Vonage.  Literally 30 sec later, I get 214-586-0999 on my caller ID.  WTF.  I was not able to answer or anything so I guess I let it go to voicemail (I wonder if it's even set up already).  I just put the number in google and found this thread.

Today about 11:30AM PST, I received a call from this number 214-586-0999. I have Vonage. I think Vonage is giving out my telephone number because I have received so many telemarketing calls where I know I haven't given out my number or signed up with any telemarketing or merchants online!

I have been receiving telemarketing calls now in droves since about December of 2006. I believe Vonage is selling our numbers and names to telemarketing companies! They have already been sued, so now why are they doing this?

I tried to call back the 214-586-0999, but I only received a recording that said "Please hold on and we'll connect your call". After that this porn type techno music came on and stayed on! Never did connect me. I am sick of this crap!

My dad answered a call from this number (214-586-0999) and it was my cousin calling from El Salvador.  When my mom called the number back, the weird techno music played about 10 minutes.  She says that she had gotten several calls from that number and that no one would answer.  I googled it and all this comes up.  pretty weird.

I first received a call from a private call at 9:15 a.m. and when I answered they hung up. Then I received another call right after that and the caller id said Mortgage Offer. I answered and the call was very fussy like it was from another country. I hung up again. I tried calling the number back and was put on hold so I hung up

Received two calls from this number. It showed up as international on my caller id. Both calls were from my husband in Brazil using his cell phone to call home. We use Cingular as our cell phone provider.
