I recieved to calls from 214-586-0999 and of course I didn't answer it because I didn't know who it was. Then I had an ID restricted number call, my husband answered it, but no one said anything. I tried calling that number back and listen to some techno music and then it got disconnected. That happened twice.

Caller called at 5am threatening me, name calling, etc.  Said his name was Steve Jobs and was from my town.  I called the police and made a tele. hass. charge, so if you find out who this person is call the wv state patrol and they will have it on record of what town it accured in.

Received call, when I answered they hung up.  I just blocked them.  Jerks!

How do you know for a fact that Vonage is selling customer information?
Your assumption could be incorrect and you'd look like a dumbass. I guess if you were really worried about looking like a dumbass, though, you wouldn't be making statments you know nothing about. I know in my business(restaurant), if anyone starts spewing s**t they know nothing about, I tell them they need to shut up and acutally take the time to learn about what they're talking. It's idiots like you that create more problems than you're worth!

Rooster is right. Some of you people make slugs look smart.  The caller ID of "International" should be your first clue.  The call you're getting is either from overseas (you know, those countries outside of America?), a calling card, or from a voice over ip company like skype.  There is no conspiracy!  The men in black are not going to get you!

Has anyone figured out what the password it asks for is?

f*ck all of you who are making claims, that are not getting these calls! it IS a very serious matter when someone calls you at 4 in the morning who knows your name and address and is asking for more personal info about you. i am livid at the fact that you are trying to belittle a serious situation such as this one! it has absolutely NOTHING to do with "the men in black" or a honest overseas call. lots of these, counting mine, are threating calls and they are looking for personal info that is not innocent! i can think of no other reason  someone would call from overseas telling you your name and address and asking for your ss number at 4 in the morning other than for criminal acts! you are a piece of sh!t and i would love to give you my phone number in privacy if you would like to further discuss it with me. i'd also like to give them your phone number since it's all so innocent and we're so stupid...that's cool, right?!

When calls from the 214-586-0999 go to my answering machine it leaves an annoying tone. I've had several similar calls on my answering machine that come as early as 8 a.m. and as late as 10 p.m..  Does anyone know how to block these calls?

Someone in Ghana, W Africa is trying to scam me out of 25K   He says his name is Wesley Woodgate  (Wesley_Woodgate1966@yahoo.com)  cell # 011-233243075125   He gave me the name and address of "his driver" to wire the money to  Benito Wuver  NT 504 Newtown Accra-Ghana  West Africa 00233  But if you Google Benito Wuver you are referred to a webpage for some African girl looking for a man to take care of her financially.  Now that this guy/girl/group is waiting at WesternUnion for my money....my cell phone as been ringing off the hook from not only his cell, but this # as well as "no # available.

I got a call this morning at 4:05am. I never answer calls I don't recognize. I just switched from Sprint to Cingular 1 month ago exactly, and got a new number. Not sure if this call is for me or just this number (I'm sure it's a recycled number).

But wow, I'm shocked at how many people get calls from this number! Wtf! And Steve Jobs??? That's kind of funny. Perhaps Apple's stock went down and he's hard on cash?

I GOT A CALL FROM 214-586-0999 AT 7:37 P.M. ON SUNDAY, JULY 22, 2007.  THE WOMAN WAS SPEAKING SPANISH.  I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND HER.  I TOLD HER THAT I DIDN'T SPEAK SPANISH AND ASKED HER IF SHE SPOKE ENGLISH.  SHE SPOKE AGAIN IN SPANISH AND I REPEATED MYSELF.  SHE THEN HUNG UP.  I IMMEDIATELY GOGGLED THE AREA CODE WHICH IS IN TEXAS.  THEN I DID A SEARCH FOR THIS PHONE NUMBER.  THIS IS WHAT I FOUND.  HOPEFULLY SHE WON'T CALL BACK.

just received a call from this number, didnt answer it...ever since i inquired about some college courses, i've been getting all kinds of calls on my home phone

This number 214-586-0999 called three times in a row on my work direct line. I didn't answer because I do not reconize the number. they did  not leave message. It says International. when i called an automatic voice said my phone number then said "password, please wait while I connect your call" I just hung up since I am at work.

revieved the call but didn't answer...they called twice. I searched the number I found this website. weird cause I never get calls like this...I just got this number.

My wife got this call, then I got it, I don't know what's going on, she told me that when she called back she got ahold of someone speaking Iraqie.  The next day I got the call on my cell phone and when I called back, I was put on hold and music started playing.  At first I thought they were delaying and tapping into my phone list on my cell phone.  It was very strange, not normal, wierd, as if somthing was not right.  I even thought this might be a type of 900 hundred number, which put you on hold while your cell phone account is charged.

Just got this call at 2:30 am in the morning. Had the whole family in panic when they said our credit card was over the limit and the number had been stolen. Everyone has work tomorrow, so this has effected us in more than one way. The person speaking spoke english pretty well.
