I keep getting a call from the above number and it was this spanish dude u can barely hear him mumble something about a spanish dish network one things for sure he new my sister name previous owner of the cell number so it some kind of scam , bill collector or sales call whtever it is suspicious and so is the techno music when u call it back

I got a cal from this number at 1:50am and I know no body from an international distance.

I received a call from this # today. It was from Jim Gordon. Or at least that's what I'm led to believe...but it is April Fool's Day. HaHaHaHaHaHa!

We've been getting 6 calls a day from this number. It always comes up International 214 586 0999 on our I.D. so we didn't answer not knowing who it was .I finaly got sick of so many calls a day and answered .Some guy on the other end with an Indian accent addressed me by name , told me my address and said we had a tax return coming and would recieve $300.00 a month for 6 months. Well we already recieved our tax return and I know the government pays your return in 1 lump sum so I questioned him and he hung up . Tried calling the number back and got an automated voice saying please hold while Iforward your call then just techno music . These people are scammers

they told me id received a 300.00 a month tax return for 6 months and when i told him i had not filed this year because i was in jail most of the year he asked for my girlfriend by name so we tried to get his business name outta him and could not so we told him her grandmother had gotten scammed liked this he hung up

Alot of calls from this number end up coming from Africa. I find that interesting. Someone Ive been talking to for 6 mos recently went to and is currently in Africa. Wondering the legitimacy of the whole 6 mos conversation. What scams....predators....identity thieves... do you all know about?

Repeated calls from a guy claiming to be in an African refugee camp and wanting help to come to the U.S.  Calls are received all hours of the night.

These people call every day asking for my wife (she is deceased) when I tell them that, they say okay.  Then they say they can offer me free insurance and just need my bank account information.  I told them to stop calling and they said we will call anytime we get good and ready and there is nothing you can do to stop it!  They already have my address, name and social security number.  Have reported them to my phone company, police, BBB and FCC.

I received this call last night.. I answered and it was our children's elementary school doing a revers 911 to remind us of an event at school! Odd? I did not receive an international call before or after!

my boyfriend answered the phone. a spanish speaking man asked for a Mr. XXX (my last name). when they were told there was no Mr, they asked if they number was new or something. then said something about the Radisson hotel and would i like to take a survey? at 9:30 at night. Riiight.
I am on the National No Not Call List, so they must have been using the phone book to get my name and number.

Just got a call from this number a few minutes ago. Caller ID showed this number (Dallas area code) but said "International call" as well. No answer when I said hello. I have been getting calls from other numbers mentioned in this forum also. Is this a new thing? How are these people supposed to make money on a scam if they don't speak to you?

Received call late afternoon. Caller id said "International" 1-214-586-0999. Man with foreign accent asked for me by name. Told him he must have wrong number, and hung up. Don't know how he knew my name, but this worries me, as I had a debit card fraud about 6 months ago and had to change bank accounts, etc. What a hassle.

4-15-08 11:00am South Jersey.  Just got the call.  Let my 3 year old talk to him (and annoy him with his rantings).  He spoke broken English, not sure of the nationality.  He finally got tired of my son's gibberish and said good-bye.  It was amusing to listen to.  I'm on the do not call list, but I guess this is one of those "slip through the cracks" kind of issues.  Anyway, just thought I'd share.

I'm assuming most of you now this, but as I was reading many of these posts I felt the need to mention.....If you are being harrassed by this number (or any others), although "not fair", there are solutions.  Most phone companies offer an option for $4-5 a month where you can control your own number blocking and other fun options.  Also, there are divices you can purchase for $50-150 that you can hook to your main phone (if you have a phone system), which will also allow you to block numbers.  You can set to not allow certain area codes to leave mesages, not go through at all, etc.  The technology is out there.  Incase anyone didn't know.

I used Skype (skype.com) to call someone a few minutes ago and this number (214 586-0999) showed up on their caller ID.  No big deal.

I got this call today and the voicmail was a call from Mexico.  When I called it back, there were like 6 different people on the line!  It was hillarious! I stayed on the phone for 10 minutes and called a few of my co-workers in.  We all kept saying funny stuff and the confusion with everybody on the phone was hilarious!!

My boyfriend and I use Skype and when he called tonight, this is the number that was displayed under caller id
