This number is a relay / repeater number for incoming International calls. My parents just called me from Germany and this "International" 214# came up on the caller ID. My parents use Tmobile overseas to call back to the states. Again this is incoming International calls. Hope this helps. If you are not expecting an overseas call just ignore the call...either someone has misdialed or someone is randomly calling state side phone numbers to attempt a scam....ie Nigerian or Russian scams.

I got this 214 568 0999 some times , it is because my BF calls me from Korea using kind of low price phone card.

Call was made to me many people in the background sexual explict language and sugestions people asking for ssn and other private info At 2030 1635 calls came in

This number has called my home line a few times in the last few days. I pick it up and then hang it up without speaking or giving them a chance to speak. What comes up on my caller ID is "International". 10 seconds later it'll ring again and this time the ID on it says "blocked call". Reverse phone lookup on whitepages.com says this is the Ibfa Acquisition Company, Llc out of Dallas, TX. They won't talk to my answering machine. I am on the Do Not Call list.

About every 2 weeks i get a call from 214-586-0999 i do not pick up no message is ever left.  
I am unlisted and on do not call list.  i report each call to federal do not call.

Called and hung up.  I called back.  Called again and gave me scam about wanting to drop off a package from FedEX.  Gave me phony company, Global Payout Services and a phone number to call in 876 area code which is Caribbean.  I called it to check legitimacy and have now since learned what a mistake that was.

got a call again, from this phone number today. They called yesterday and I hung up on the guy. Today a guy named Mike Fairbanks left a message from some company (said so fast impossible to decipher) telling me I won 5 million dollars, and that I need to call 876 # to claim my prize so package can be delivered. Not calling back - will ignore and put # on do-not-call list. Definitely a scam.

Tried to call it back today and it was music in the background with a males voice speaking in Spanish saying something along the lines of "stupid, stupid person" I don't know Spanish that well, but heard that. I hung up after that and don't know what else it says on there. All of my calls are local so I don't think that this is some international call line transfer.. Any suggestions on how to get it to stop calling me?

Call that came through was from an extremely crowded call center.  Sounded Indian and he could barely hear me.  Hung up on him.

I have been applying for scholarships and grants like crazy online.  So, a few minutes ago I received a call from a person claiming to be Jerry Vasquez with CEM Associates.  He claimed that the GOVERNMENT has reviewed my application for a Grant and that I'm eligible.  He said all that I need to provide was (get this) $489.00!  That would be refunded to me on my taxes once I received my grant money.  I told him "Mr. if I had $489.00 sitting around to pay to you to find me money, then I would not need a Government Grant" so he said "_____, If you find a school that you can go to for $489.00 then go! Have a good day!"  and he hung up.  Of course, I googled the number 214-586-0999 and this is where I ended up.  BIG TIME SCAM!

I just received a call on my cellphone from (214)586-0999 and when i called back, I heard different peoples communication in different languages. Some of the languages I could recognize them. Tigrigna, Amharic, Hindu, Arebic....languages. I sow what it explained by the others, so that I didn't confused. It could be as you said Skype...

I'm not getting calls from this number, but....this number has been showing up on people's cell phone caller ID's as my number when I call them from my land line (I'm in CA). I have talked with ATT and they say it is an issue on the cell phone side of the network, not on my side.

I have talked to my long distance carrier (not ATT) to see if it is an issue on their side. Waiting to hear back from them.

This is my business phone so it is causing problems with folks trying to call me back from their caller ID!! They get various weirdness when they call it -- a recording saying if you want to be removed from the list please leave your number, etc.

Can't really tell why this is happening...don't see a similar issue in other posts here. Any ideas??

My partner has been receiving calls from this number, and it turns out to be a bank.

My friend and I read a snippet from a computer digest and found 214-586-0999. We called and were able to hear a number of people talking @ the same time and like a well placed fly on the wall, we sat and listened. Also, to test if our voices were heard we had conversations of our own. Upon doing some homework on this issue, I found:

This location handles calls from Mexico into the United States. At this point I'm not sure if this is a manipulated number from a VOIP service.

I received 4 calls early in the morning on my home telephone service, which is Bellsouth.  No one said anything....that I could understand.
I have no idea....I know no one far away...out of the states!
It is kinda creepy to know someone is calling you....for some unknown reason!

I also received call this morning from numbers 093-724-2834 and 092-517-9531.  Who knows???

I tried to trace the call and also put it on my call block list.....Bellsouth will not let me....says the number can not be traced. blocked or cal returned.  BUMMER!
Someone is not doing there job.......
