No one spoke when I said hello. Reverse dialed and found it was "Southwest Credit Systems."

Right!  No one answers and when you call back its just a recording..   Strange.

Calls and doesn't leave a message

got a call and they ask for my husband. This is my cell phone, not his. They asked to verify address and had the city wrong. I asked several times what it was about and they would not tell me till I verified my information. I hung up. They called back a few days later and I told them they had the wrong number.

They've called multiple times, I answered about two weeks ago and told them to stop f***ing calling me and it stopped for a week and they're back at it. Today I answered said the same thing and someone actually responded this time with a no. Just remembered you can block numbers from your iPhone.

Keeps calling. No one talks on the other end when I pick up. Very strange.

calls all the time, when i answer they say nothing and then hang up after i've said hello multiple times. Havent tried calling back. if its a bill collector why arent they speaking? Placing on Block list asap.

I get several calls from this Southwest Credit Systems. They call, I answer, they don't say a word and hang up. They probably log it as " caller hung up" SCAMMERS

These people are scammers, they said I had unpaid toll bills from 2012 which I didn't even have!! Guy wouldn't tell me his name and when I told him I would call the toll company myself to he started yelling and telling me they wouldn't have the information.

I spoke with the toll company and I had no bills there!!

Continue to ask what it is in reference to.  I was able to get out of them that it was for NTTA (which I owed a mere $3.00 for a lapsed auto-pay...however the notice from scumbag credit was trying to extract over $65.00 out of me).  They disclosed to me what it was for prior to securing 2 forms of identification (oops!!!).  I told them I would handle it with NTTA directly, Thanked her for her time, hung up and then proceeded to block all calls from the number.  Scumbag leaches...no other way to describe it.

I answered there was a long pause. I waited and then I heard back ground noise and a man said "Hi this is Tom from Southwest Credit..." I hung up. Ha.

Calls and doesn't say a word or called and looooong pause. Finally talked to someone and it is  Southwest Credit, the collection agency for North Texas Toll Authority-NTTA.  

I missed the call the first time and they called back as a Southwest Credit Agency.  A guy called me today verifying my address which was correct(scary) notifying me of an NTTA tollway debt of which I have autopay.  He immediately hung up the phone once I said I have an autopay account with NTTA.  My guess is it's holiday season and these scumbags are out in every form.  Be careful out there guys.  Its Vaporware season.

It's a debt collection for NTTA. Don't pay it. It doesn't go on your credit report and driving on roads should be free especially crappy ones like North Texas has.

The employees are paid by the call, not by the collection. They actually make more money by NOT talking to you, thus the silence/hang-ups.

Kept receiving calls from this number asking me to verify personal information. When I asked who I was speaking with they said they couldn't tell me unless I verified personal info. Then they hung up.

Makes sense that it would be ntta. I received a call from them today and wouldn't give the guy any personal info until he explained what it was about. He would only say personal business. I wouldn't budge so he snickered and hung up.

This was from ntta charges years ago when my old toll tag would fall off of the velcro and I wouldn't realize it until I found it in the floorboard.  Talked to ntta and they confirmed it was sent to collections and they couldn't do anything at that point.  I don't think these hit the credit reports because I haven't seen anything and I monitor my reports.

Seems like a shady collection company though.

They have been calling twice a day for months! I paid an old Tolltag bill directly to NTTA and got a new Tolltag LAST YEAR. Southwest is trying to collect on this old bill. SCAMMERS!
