They keep calling me for my brothers car.  I have been telling them that he does not live here for months.  Now the are calling me and telling me that they have a case against me and that I am being investigated.  How can that be possible when I do not own the car nor am I a cosigner on the loan?  I keep telling them not to call and have even gotten beligerent with them. I have notified the police, but they cannot do anything because they are in Texas and I am in Georgia.  The are now accusing me of hiding the car in my garage.  I own 3 cars, 2 are paid for and the third is current with my lien holder.  They called me 9 times back to back, sometimes on speaker phone laughing and talking rudely.  One woman even had the gall to ask me "if I kiss my mother with my mouth"?  I told her to personally come and look in my garage.  I am sick of these harrassing phone calls.  I have reported them to the FTC twice and will now be looking for an attorney to file suit against them.  I am also going to call the police in Texas as well.

They are now calling my mother's medical practice and have shown up at her door threatening her.  They were rude to her office manager and nurse when they were told that she was with a patient and could not come to the phone.  They are also calling my sister.  No of us are on the loan.  The person who showed up at my mother's house today revealed third party information about my brother's account.  This is ridiculous.  He is only 33 days late! But regardless of that, what do we have to do with it?  My mother is going to talk to her attorney tomorrow when she gets to the office.

Recieved call from "Windsor Group" that said they were investigating my neighbor.  I told them I just moved into my house and I don't know any of my neighbors.  The woman kept saying she just wanted to ask me questions and it was an investigation when I asked questions.  I indicated to her my phone # is unlisted and I am on Natl Do Not Call Registry she said she could get any information she wanted to.  Very nasty woman.  Unfortunately I know collection agencies always call on Thursday nights.  I called the number back hoping to get more information but recieved another very nasty woman

This is a real comment, and hopefully, this will encourage anyone reading this to respond to any calls from this number.

I was a victim of identity theft. Someone used my name, social security number, and other information to purchase a car, a car which is now in default.

Yes, they are a collection agency, but they are an investigation firm. If I had not returned Windsor’s and Mr. William’s call, then I would not have known about this.

If you have told this company to cease calling you and they do not. You do have grounds to file charges against this company and the investigator if they do not stop calling.

These people are NOT legit.  They are breaking several rules of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and they know it.  This is why, when you ask for information about their company, they will quickly hang up.  If they were a real investigation service, they would be proud to give you their information.  Thankfully, you have the law and Google on your side and can find out information about the company and your rights.  You do not have to give them any personal information.  Send a certified letter to the Windsor Equity Group informing them to never call you, your work, or any of your peers.  Then, when they call again, you can go straight to the FTC and the Dallas County District Attorney's Office with a complaint.  They have an obligation to follow the law, and you have the right to call them out on that obligation by filing official complaints.

A person by the name of "Investigator Thomas" keeps calling my home and asking for my husbands brother who apparently has not paid his car bill!!
These people seem to think that we are "hiding cars" at our home!!! That is not the case and as a matter of fact, we dont even talk to the brother!
The first call "Investigator Thomas", a woman, African American, told me to "realy the message that they are looking for him and that he has personal business matters that need to be taken care of with them because they would hate to have to bring in law inforcement."

The second call: February 20, 2008 @ 1:30pm
Called asking for my husband and I immediately knew the phone number and the voice (how can any one forget right?)well I told her that I knew exzactly who she was looking for and that we do not talk to the brother, honestly. She asked me if I was a mind reader. I laughed, doesnt she remember that she was the one who told me ALL about the incident previously. The she asked if I had a job? I mean what kind of a question is that! It has nothing to do with the situation. AND NO, WE ARE HIDING CARS HERE!!
Jeez!

I used to work for Windsor Group, and they are skip tracers looking for a vehicle that is up for repossession, or in some cases, fraud.  They are rutheless, and do break several laws, and they are in no shape, form, or fashion related to any LAW OFFICIALS!!!  So if they call you, you might want to make your car payment quickly, because they will get you!

I got a call from a mrs. Baird saying she had a case filed in her office on behalf of my bank who finaced my vehicle. We talked a while and she was able to get a rep from the bank on the line and we were able to work things out. This company is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. There are good people who are really trying to help and not put you down. They kept me from loosing my vehicle.

I got a call from Mrs. Washington on a Tuesday and so did my brother and my father. I then find out that they found my entire family in my city and began threatening my life to them and to me. She told me that she had to contact family to make me return this car. So she threatened my life to my brother and told me that people were going to come by my house to "make" me understand the severity of the issue. I made an agreement with her to return the car. Now it's Friday and she sent a repo guy to my brothers house and revealed confidential info about my case to them. I have called my lawyer and we are suing.

Sam's safety was never threatened by Windsor. I was told that her safety was a concern because Sam was in possession of illegal property. Repo guy does  not even work for Windsor! The info he gave me is public information.

If you get a call from Windsor about a family member, it is for a car under your relative's name that is default in payment. Work with Windsor before the matter is turned over to the repo guy!

GET A JOB AND MAKE YOUR PAYMENTS PEOPLE!

YOU MUST BE PART OF THIS PROBLEM OF REPO GUYS AND WINDSOR RELEASING INFORMATION TO PERSONS THAT HAVE NO RIGHT TO RECEIVE THIS INFORMATION.

YOU MUST BE EMPLOYED OR SOMEONE THAT OWNS ONE OF THESE DESPERATE COMPANIES THAT HIDE AND CHASE PEOPLE PUTTING PERSONS IN DANGER OR FEAR OF WHO IS FOLLOWING THEM AND WHY.

YOU MUST NOT HAVE A JOB, TO MAKE IT YOUR BUSINESS TO BE HERE DEFENDING SOME COMPANY THAT YOU HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH.

BEFORE YOU TELL SOMEONE TO GET A JOB AND MAKE PAYMENTS YOU REALLY DO NEED TO INQUIRE MORE ABOUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. THESE COMPANIES ARE MADE UP OF PLENTY OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO EDUCATION. SMART PEOPLE DON'T SIT AROUND AND WATCH WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO. NO SMART PERSON WOULD BE IN THIS LINE OF BUSINESS. GO GET AN EDUCATION MR. IGNORANT(SAM BRO)AND QUIT HANGING WITH THE CATFISH YOU BOTTOM DWELLER.
