Well people....you are so right on about this company.  My EX WIFE works for them and they are CROOKS.  The EX is on a FIVE YEAR PROBATION in the state of Texas for IDENTITY THEFT!!!! She is still employed by this company.....ain't that a riot!!!  I also believe she has been involved with calling 2 (OR MORE) of my previous employers giving private or even false information that is then used in disciplinary action against me!!! This is called SOCIAL ENGINEERING AND IS ILLEGAL! I haven't proven it yet but she is going to pass out when she finds out I am on to her!!!  IF YOU EVEN THINK YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT, FILE IT WITH THE FTC!!!!  These kinds of businesses are nothing but clearing houses for IDENTITY THEFT CROOKS.  Employees or EX Employees can gain access to your SSN, and any other information needed to do some major damage to your credit and give themselves monitary gain.  THEY NEED TO BE RAN OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!

Called Sunday morning to my cell phone.  

Asked for name of someone I never heard of.   Female caller explained that she was calling on a Sunday because she had to work - even on Sunday.

caller called 2x's. second time left a message for someone I have never heard of. the man on the message said he needed a call back within 24 hours for an account matter.

Can someone help me understand why this agency, "the windsor group" calls my cell phone?  They are looking for a person I do not know but apparently the person is in connection with my husband's ex spouse.  What concerns me is how in the HECK did they get my personal cell phone #?  I am so angry and worried because they have my personal information and I have a feeling the ex is involved in some criminal activity since she has a history of this.  I do not want to be involved and I do not want my name to be attached to any of this crap!  Does anyone know what I can do?  So far I have only received one call from this group and the lady left me her name and phone number to call if I had any information.  Any advice?

They are people are contractors for major auto lenders, I think actually are repo company a business profile . From what I gathering the only they get paid with they return the car back to the lender .  

But they have to pickup the car before consumers bring their auto account with the leader back to a postive status.


The information below is a law that they are breaking . Tell them you are record call and you asking them to stop harassing . First you make the indenify who they are , then you tell them to stop calling . You can also send a Certified letter requesting them to stop ...include the law act below .

They called a few times asking about my tenant. They would not say who they are or what they do. They kept trying to scare me by using the words “INVESTIGATION” and “AGENTS”. I explained that he is just my tenant and I would forward their info to him and to please not call my number any longer. They are still calling numerous times a day.

Today, they went too far. They have contacted my family in New York (where I live), North Carolina and Florida,  that have nothing to do with my tenant. They even went as far as giving up confidential information to my family about my tenant and threatening my family to convince me to call them and talk to them or I can get in “Big Trouble for hindering an investigation.

I am calling my attorney first thing in the morning and suing their pants off.

They are piranhas and have no ethics or respect. They should be out of business.

I receive calls from this number numerous times a day, I do not answer calls I do not know. The messages left on the answering machine say that I need to stop hiding behind the reservation and that they have contacted the Tribal Council.  Do they even know how many Tribal Council members I have?  I have talked to my four reps and neither one of them recevied any phone calls pertaining to me, that is missrepresentation of my Council Reps.  They are calling my brother on his cell phone and at work. He googled them and found out who they were he is yet to talk to them.  The end of the messages say I have no choice but to file in County Court and you will be liable for all court and filing fees.  I am not subject to County laws I am an enrolled member of an Federally Recognized Indian Tribe and I live on that reservation (have for my entire life) and we have our own jurisdication.  I have taped the messages for use in court, they have violated the Fair Debit Collection Act in so many ways not to mention the misrepresentation of my Tribal Council. Can't wait to get to court cause they are calling for me but they don't have to be so rude, threatening or intimidating.  Under our law it is the vehicle or the money you can not have both.

I received a phone call from the above number this evening. They were actually looking for my son-in-law and disclosed credit information to me including the name of a bank and other details absolutely against the law. The woman even admitted she did a "relative" check and got my name.  I told her that the address she had was current on my son-in-law and she should send a certified letter.  I told her what she was doing was against the law, and not to call me again.

Truly unbelievable.

I got threw dealing with the Windsor Group. They have 3 different departments. Skip trace, private investigations, and legal. They gave me there PI NO# A14647 which I looked up and it is Windsor Investigations in Dallas. I also checked the Texas Supreme Court web site. And they do have certified process servers. And the bar no# they gave me is for an attorney.

There is a woman calls herself Ms. Dodson She's calling my boyfriends job, relatives, I mean distant relatives, ex's and so forth. She 1st demanded he surrender his vehicle and got very ugly. This group also calls neighbor etc....A lot of there tactics are illegal. So please document what they do.

Someone (said they were "case worker" Patterson) called me from this number and said they were investigating a incident that happened in Dallas county with a vehicle that was registered to my husband and referred to the make and model and state of licence plate. At first I thought it was law inforcement and got worried. But then thought it was odd because they called my workplace (I never give out my work number) and got my first name wrong. I called back and got an automated recording saying they were the Winsor Group. I thought that was odd too so I started looking around on the web and found this site. So I am assuming it is fraudulent!? We are not outstanding on the loan on this car and have always paid the payments so if they are a collection agency like some people here say, why are they calling me?? Before I found this site, I was worried sick about this. This is not appropriate and not cool that these people are messing with peoples lives!!
