Number called and left a bogus message. Said the message was meant for someone who I have never heard of. Message said that I needed to return their call because "abnormal activity" on my account (didn't say what kind of account - bank, credit card, etc.) and if I did not call back, they would take legal action according to state and federal law. I do not live in Texas, hold no accounts based in Texas. Nice try!

Same message... ill regular activity against your account... blah blah I'm a lying creditor of some sort blah blah if you are stupid enough to call us back we will threaten you and your life.
Screw them I blocked the number!

Just got a call from them while I was at work... the voice mail message said pretty much the same thing, "you have 24 hours to contact or we will pursue action against you in accordance with the laws in the state, county and city where you live."

Different approach, same ol' crap.

Called saying I qualified for state credit card receipt program (just opened a business). I dentified self as Wayne (Wade?), but left no busness name. Gave return number as 866-867-2188, ext 2222.

Receiving 3 to 4 robocalls per day since registering for Texas sales tax permit. Thanks, Texas gov.

Agreed Maggie! Have recieved EIGHT , yes 8, phone calls from 8 different bogus numbers, including a blocked one, today and it's only 11 am. Just another PERK of having to pay tax to the government.

Trying to "give us" a credit card machine - hate telemarketers.  Waste of everyone's time.

Recorded call about helping my biz take Visa/Mastercard credit debit.

Lied, recorded, repeated from more than one number....therefore scam/spam.

Harrassing call

After filing for Texas Tax ID, Received 4 calls in less than an hour. Same message trying to give me a credit card machine. Harrassment.

Same here - just registered for a sales tax permit. Now the calls are flooding in.

Filed for Texas Tax ID about 2 weeks ago and now I'm being bombarded with unwanted phone calls. As if it weren't bad enough before with unwanted phone calls

same here.  have business in texas. this call seems to have originated in Dallas, Texas.  recorded message as a "public service announcement". I blocked Number. I would like to know what company does this !  

Pre-recorded message for company selling credit card processing equipment. Caller ID listed the phone number and M SERVICES.

Same here - registered for texas tax id - and got swarmed with phone calls re: accepting credit cards and a credit card machine.
