The person claimed to be from Victorville,gave this number out,(760)247-7805,requested my number and then called from the above (214) number.

They called my cell phone. I said hello twice they just hung up. When I called back I got some recording that told me about Bank of America checking, then told me the time and the weather.

At least my call came in during the afternoon, but at work after I forgot to turn my ringer off!  Didn't check if it was B of A, but I may close my account when I verify that it is!

ANSWERED PHONE AND NO ONE WAS THERE.  THEN IT SOUNDED LIKE SOMEONE HUNG UP.  RECEIVED THIS CALL AT 2100 HRS.  CALLER ID SHOWED THAT IT WAS FROM TEXAS.

recalled this number and got bank of america time and temperature service.  very annoyed as we are first of all not BOA customers, and second of all, we are across the world in different time zone 12 hours off of Dallas (where the call came from), but with vonage service we brought our american phone number here, and we are getting phone calls from businesses in the middle of the night, waking us constantly.

I am not a BofA member and I received the same call. They called me all day sometimes up to 6 times in a row. It was pretty funny...and then annoying. I also got a really odd number 2348070509239. Not sure if that is some *82 crap or something.

BofA like many of the other callers.  They called me in the 650 area code about 10 times today.

just received a call from this number, a recording came on telling me that this is my final chance to receive a break on my interest rates.  I pressed 1 to get a live person.  The operator said she was from "Financial Services" and asked for my name and number to verify and gain access into their database.  I refused to give details and continued to question who she worked for.  

The more I challenged her, the more she hid behind the symantics of "she didn't call me".  I got a little angry and raised my voice.  She then hung up.

Like Tekky...I too got the call from this number... pressed one for the live operator and told her (as this was like the 50th call) to take me off their
list.  Her response to me was... verbatim... "Fat F***ing Chance A**ho**
and even reporting this number to the Do Not Call registry doesn't seem
to get me anywhere!

I pressed 1, also, just so I could talk to a live person and tell them to take me off their list.  Especially since the call came through on my cell phone.  I got to the live person, who answered, "Card Services."  I said, "Who are you?" and he hung up.

Bank of America bastards.  They called me too on my cell phone, no answer, just hung up.

I just got a call from the same number...it's 9pm here! I'm usually in bed by now. I don't usually ignore calls from strange numbers and don't think I am on any "do not call" registry...I am my own Do not call registry. Usually I answer and after I have to say hello the second time, I know it's a "cold call". I usually catch them off guard by hitting them hard and fast with several questions especially when I know I didn't have an account with the caller, I either demand a supervisor or send them to hell by telling them to take me out of their computer. It has worked so far on about 85% of the cold calling A$$hole$ and the number of calls from anyone like that has dropped dramatically!

The recorded message tells me it's my last chance to reduce my interest rate on my CC. I pressed 1 and the guy asks me to verify my name and phone number. I asked him what credit card and he says Mastercard (ah ha...I only have Visa!) So I ask which one? He again requests I verify my name and number. I verify my name and ask him again which card. He repeats his request for me to verify my phone number. I told him, "no I won't verify it, you already have it...now, which card?" He repeated his request again for the phone number and I hung up.

I'm sure they will call again and I will have to THEN send them to hell as I usually do. Right before that though, I will let them know that I will report them to the States Attorney General...they hate that!

Looks like a scam to me. The BOA number on the caller ID is obviously faked. They're just phishing for credit card numbers. Beware.

File a complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and/or http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm .  If nothing else, should these scumbags ever be prosecuted, there can be a record of complaints.  Takes just a couple of minutes.

Calls come in from this number but, no one is ever on the line when we answer!! It's annoying!
