same problem as Jazon & Tekky--said to take me off their list--hung up before I could complete my sentence.

I got this call, but didn't answer it.  I don't answer any calls I don't recognize, since many of these telemarketers will keep calling you over and over if you answer.  Better safe than sorry.  Check these sites first.

However, I can add information to this group.  I got a call from "1506225759" just 20 seconds before this call.  Yep, it's missing a final digit.

I suspect that someone is calling from outside the United States and masking the call with an id of "214-844-0000".  I checked 506-225-759X and came up with numbers in Costa Rica and Panama.

It's probably a phishing call, so please beware.

Really odd. I just got a call from this number and it was a buddy of mine calling from his car. I can't explain that. I did not try calling it back.

This is sad.  Bank of America is supposed to be a reputable company. I had one of their 2pt. font privacy memos come with my last statement, on the back it had all these 3rd party companies that are "linked" with them.  

That's one of the 1000's of reasons you can't fight them, all the people in the shadows doing their dirty work.

It makes me mad.  

One more thing, Caller ID has been around for a LONG time and should be way more advanced by now.  If you have business license, who in the hell is checking up on these people as they establish phone services.  Should I start my own "business" and have it come up on people's ID as:  Local Hospital, or Poison Control, so parents can throw a heart attack when the phone rings?!?!  I don't get it.

I didn't recognize the number so let it go to vm, it was a little girl asking me to call her back but I could not really understand her. But you could barely hear a woman in the background telling her what to say.
