This phone number belongs to a company called Economy Merchants.  They state on their message that the nature of their call is to help cut debit card processing rates for businesses (ironically, we don't own a business, yet receive these calls often?).

They give the option to press 2 to be removed from the calling list.

Foreign speaking man asked for my husband.  When I told him he was not here and asked if I could help him he said No.  He said he was calling because he was to have a package delivered today but needed to speak with him first.  When I explained that he was not here and could I help him he just hang up on me.  SCAMMMMMMMMMM!

Telemarketer for small business debt relief.  Caller ID says Economy Merchants.

Economy Merchants - says Texas on caller ID.  For businesses.  Garbage about rates on debit/credit cards being cut by 50% and other companies not giving this rate out.  Surprise - they don't pay attention to do not call list, which doesn't work anyhow.  Scammers don't pay attention to that list at all.

When I returned the call to asked to be removed from their call list, there was no voice mail option.

FCC law requires telemarketers to provide a number at which they can be contacted for this purpose.
As previous poster stated scammers do not obey lists or laws.

Gave them several opportunities to stop.  The number they are calling is on the 'Do Not Call' list.  Has been for years.  Tied up my private line, wasted my time.  Reporting them to all appropriate agencies.

This number calls our business incessantly, a recording addressed to motel owners, referring us to www.resultsfirst.com.
