There's been a burglary in your area, oh my! Fourth call about a home security system in the last five days. Wasted the caller's time because I was bored and when I asked 'what didn't you understand from the last time I asked you to stop calling' - click, hang up. Reporting to the FBI. Using fraudulent scare tactics to have them scam you for money..

I was wondering how your call to the FBI went and what they said they were prepared to do

recording --- there is high crime in your neighbor hood,  the police recommend you install a security system right away. press 1 to talk to a representative and set an appointment.    

Sure -    how bout i set an appointment for you at our police department.

"Do not hang up!  This is not a Sales Call!"

It's a sales call.  

They're selling home security systems.  Shortly after the "Do not hang up!" schtick, it follows with a panic-attack of "There's been a burglary in your neighborhood!"... "or someone has referred you..."  yeah, right.  Anyone who knows me, knows I already have a home security system.

Got call on 4/5/13 at 8:22AM, never pick and blocked it.

Not only is this a recurring scam, I doubt if they were legitimate at alll that they would be pleased to meet Mr. Mossberg or Mr. Remington or my big dog if they showed up at my door.  They are thieves and I can't understand why the AG of Texas, an honest individual, won't take up where the US AG, a non-honest individual won't stop this kind of scam.

I just sent GE Shareholders Services an email telling them how their good name is being abused by these telescammers. Probably won't do any good, but maybe if enough of us send a note to GE they might actually do something about it!!

Couple of calls. No name on ID. No message.

I am so tired of these telemarketers. I signed up for THE WORTHLESS state and the national 'DO NOT CALL LISTS'. I already have three security systems. Two have four paws and teeth.

received 515-344-3776 (did pick up )Saturday Aug 3, 2012 and this one (did not pick phone up)

Within 2 hours, this number has called me 3 times. All 3 times, I stayed on the lines, and then pressed 9, as instructed, to be removed from their calling list.

So tired of this call. Same 214 area. They dont answer when i pick up.

DNC listed for 10+ years..   This number was announced as the caller this afternoon..  Instead of answering I searched the Internet and found this 800notes entry..  Thanks 800notes.. this number is now in my block list.

Just took my phone off of block, I am expecting a call, and these bottom feeders called me saying they were from Home Security. I don't need their scare tactics security, or their phone calls  This scam has been going on for years. Same message, different numbers. Someone must have sold a list. :   (

Oh, how I adore Google Voice! The number was auto-blocked, courtesy of crowd sourcing info. I came here just to see which scamming crew was behind the number. Perfection, and free.
