answered phone.  Said hello and call immediately ended.

Vehicle Processing Department.  Warranty SCAM.  Report them to FCC if you are on Do Not Call list.  They will be rude to you. Shady

I received a call today from this number. I answered. There was a guy on the phone who said to another person, "You're going to mess up the deal!" I said, "hey man" and they hung up. I called the number back and received the same message, "we are closed. Call back between 8 am and 4 pm Pacific time." Some kind of scam.

Received a call today. Luckily I missed it. When I called it back, the recording stated that they were closed.

What kind of company uses a local number but when you call it, it gives you a recording that they are closed to call back the number using Pacific Time instead of Central time.

Answer: A company that is faking (spoofing) its caller ID to make the number look local, and get you to pick up the phone. Now what does that tell you about this company?

This number calls all the time and hangs up every time I answer it.

Ho-hum, another call from another robodial scam. Rang my cell but left no msg. The only way to stop these jerks is for all of us to band together and never answer a number we don't recognize. If it's a real call they'll leave you a voicemail.
