recieved a call from this number today at 7:09 am and I thought it was from by son, he is suppose to be on his way back from Oklahoma and when I tried calling back I just get a busy signal.

received collect call from 214-969-5489. " Carl " was name used. I did not respond, hung up. Happened again different day, same way. Refused call.
This may be from a prison, some fool just trying to find someone to accept calls. If happens again I will wait for options and refuse again. If it is from a jail or prison - after a few "refused" calls  caller wil no longer be able to try my number again!

My friend called from this number and left a message. I called back many times and with much worry over the busy signal until i found this site. THANK YOU JESUS!

called twice...said my brother is on the phone and it's a collect call and he can take my credit card over the phone..I said no thanks--"I will call him".

I leave in Connecticut....How the hell I received a call fom Texas when I dont have any familly over there,,,, from this phone # 1-214-969-5489 answer tha call no one answer..they hang up on me .When I call back it was busy.Maybe a full is just taking thing  like a joke.So who ever read these and know what to do please do so,,,,,,,,,,,,,

husband kept calling me from this number he is in NY could have got divorced over this thought he was in TX.

MY BOYFRIEND JUST CALLED ME FROM THIS NUMBER, HE SAID HE WAS IN WHITMAN, MA I GOOGLE IT AND GOT THIS SITE, ON THE CALLER ID IT CAME UP ILD COMM.... THEN HE HUNG UP AFTER ABOUT THREEE SECONDS, I KEEP CALLING BACK AND ITS BUSY..........   VERY STRANG.

I live in NC.  Just received a call from this #, but did not recognize it; therefore did not answer it.  How is this happening?  If anyone knows, please help.

I Live in tennesse, I have a relative coming from Ft. lauderdale Florida to jackson TN. He left last night at 8:15pm and supposed to arrive today at 11:30pm to jackson. Today at 2:30pm I received a phone call from this # 214-969-5489 it was a woman requesting my credit card # for a collect call from my relative "and she give me his name" but I refuse to give mi CC#. so I trace the call and it showed it's public ph. from Dallas, TX. I call back it was busy all the time. I call the bus line to get departures and arrivals and if He would taken the wrong bus to Dallas he wouldn't got there untill tomorrow at 3:30pm it's so extrange

Received call around 8:15 pm. Very vulgar- my daughter has also received calls from same number same vulgarity used- person called me and her by name. Didn't recognize the voice. caller id 214-969-5489. looked up number on whitepages.com results were- from dallas tx, carrier southwestern bell, no name available.

Phone rang at 12:41 am.  I was in bed.  Rang 4 times and stopped.  I got up to see who might have called.  Caller ID showed the 214 number.  I got back into bed and it rang again.  This time I got up, very irritated and picked up the phone and started fussing to whoever was on the other line about calling so late at night.  But then realized no one was listening as I heard a click and an automated message start with "Hello", etc.  I hung up and didn't bother to listen to what was being said.  No more calls.  I wonder if I had not picked up the second time, how many times the phone might have rung during the night.

I received 7 calls back to back. over and over....11:00 at night*sidenote* cuss at the callers makes it worse(my bad)...just got another will typing this

Got a call from this number, didnt answer, looked up the number and found this page, lol.

I live in Florida and I received a call from my boyfriend from this number. We talked one night and the next morning he called again from the same number. I dont know where he was calling from though. I looked it up and it comes up as a Texas land line but neither one of us have family out there and I dont see him having any business in Texas. I have been calling the number back for 3 days now and it's always busy. Every once in a blue moon it will ring but no one ever picks up and theres no way to leave a message. Now I havent heard from him in 3 days and thats not like him to not contact me. It's very strange and I am very worried.

Got a call on my cell phone this morning at 11:18 am and then again at 12:15 pm.  I didn't answer the call because I didn't recognize the number, but I DO live in texas. Not sure who this is, but after reading all these, I am not going to call it back.

Got this call at 6:25pm EST.  Said the call was collect from "Trina Green", would I accept?  Don't know anyone by that name.  May be a scam.  Wouldn't volunteer any info if I was you.

I am getting disgusting phone calls from the number, sounds like a female. At first it was busy and than I kept calling and it just rang off the hook. I think it came from someone in North Hollywood California. Who ever is responsible for this pay phone number needs to provide more information on where these phones are located. It's bull that in this day and age with all the technology we can't pin point which pay phone it is. And 411, 611, and the operator doesnt help. But who ever it is thats making the calls "Kiss my A@@!"
