This number just calls up .I do not answer number that are unknown to me. Have not be able to find out what it is except , it comes from around Philadelphia.

Its James Jones, wanting to speak to Salvo, when told had wrong number, he says he has right nuber, then starts in about supporting the police and their families.  Doesn't understand that don't support police in Philly, but support local police.

I am on a do not call list. I have gotten several calls from 2152406550. This is a solicitation. Why is this call not blocked?

We are on the no call list and keep getting calls from the above number. Why?

Constant calls from 215 240 6330 showing as private number, I do not answer these calls. I am on the do not call list and cannot understand why these scam callers can not be traced, what is the purpose of having numbers placed on the list????

Just received call from this #.  If you've EVER given money to a police support group (for families of disabled officers), you are likely to receive calls from many different numbers from all over the area from volunteers home numbers.  They hope to throw you off this way.  Being on the do not call list only works if you've NEVER said yes to any of these groups. I said yes & regret it.  6-7 calls a week from various numbers & I'm on do not call list. Only way to stop is to answer call & request they take name off list.  They tend to be hard sell so be prepared.

Laurie,  You're correct in what you state. Being on the "Do Not Call" list doesn't stop them and they pass the "lists" around so you get calls from all over the country.  When ignoring the calls didn't work, I began to answer them.  I immediately tell them they are calling a private number, that I did not give them permission to call, request they remove the number from their lists, then immediately hang up. No room for argument. Seems to have lessened the frequency of these types of calls.

This number just called and said my name.  When I said yes, they hung up. I have the number blocked noe.

You need to read the fine print.  Yes they are soliciting, but they fall under a "charity' looking for money.  Not trying to sell you anything.

My phone rings at 8:15am, way too early for any feces callers.   I answer the phone very rudely with a "WHAT".   Some dude asking for Andrea, I reply you got the wrong **ing number, and I hang up.    Another number that I have blocked.     The list just keeps growing.

Called today and left message "Hi, is Linda there? Linda, are you there?" Kind of creepy calling me by my first name like a friend or relative would.

why in the hell do they call at 8 in the morning.....cant even use the bathroom in peace ...this has to be stopped and then to donate money NO WAY would I even give them a penny if I had a penny.....hunt them down would be a good choice .

Why do they keep calling cant they take a hint then to ask for money ..Ha! After being so annoying and not leaving a message wouldnt give a cent or even buy from them its just an annoyance

asked for my first name, funnily enough, same voice as another apparent boiler shop that is already blocked.  It's blocked now.
