My brother answered the phone and was told that I had been killed in the line of duty a while ago, while fighting in Iraq. Then I took the phone and hung it up.

they call all hours of the day!!! so much for being on a DO NOT CALL LIST!!!!!!!!

This number is also calling our home, and we don't appreciate it.  They call and do not stay on the line to speak with us.  Caller ID has nothing but the number.  No legitimate police organization calls by phone to raise money.  It's a rip off every time, no matter what the caller says.  Call or go see your local, state, or county police, if you really want to help police.  I never, ever, give money by phone - - no matter what the caller says.  You can be it doesn't go to any police station and doesn't help anyone but the caller.
