Called the number about five minutes after I received the call. I heard a recorded message: This phone is out of service.

Caller identified themselves as a Microsoft technician that works for my email service said that I had lots of spam coming in on that line and they would help fix it. this is a scam process that is used to gain control of your computer they are actually hold hostage your computer and demand that you pay ransom to buy back the content back.
I attended a meeting where a fraud and scam alert was advised about such calls
number actually had a caller ID on it, many don't be aware

Got a call from this no. No message but I too have had at least one call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft saying my computer was infected but when I questioned them they hung up. Also researched this number & it's listed to an individual.

Just received a call them. Told them they were a scam and to stop calling.  They told me to Shut the F%#^£] up and that he just F >|%€\ed my daughter who,he,heard in the background. He continued to spew curse words at me until I hung up. Think it's time to buy a whistle.

get calls at least every other month. this one was at2:15  said was from microsoft and my computer was putting off spam .  He was from my provider. I know better.  Told him he was a scam and hung up

I am not happy with these people. Scammers.

just received call from this number, didn't answer, no message.  looked up name marie zeis on internet from caller id and this person may be deceased .  definitely a scam.

claimed to be from miklec cruz office, asian woman with heavy accent, re virus infecting my computer, I hurled a few nasty epithets at her--crooks

Just as everyone on this site, I too have been targeted by these scammers.
When i asked for supervisor #, I was given letters to the name and asked to pronounce this name. I would not do that
then he informed me he would crash my computer.I am sure this spelling he wanted me to pronounce was curse words.
I heard lots of laughing in background. I was very foolish to let that happen. I now know to not answer these calls.
How can these idiots be shut down?

I got the second call today - said they were from Microsoft - told them "the hell you are" and hung up.

This number called me and sang to me in Spanish for a minute or two then disconnected the call. Freaked me out.
