I received a call from a "Ben" at my place of employment from this number.  He stated that an investigation had been opened on me in regards to not paying back an online cash advance of $300 from a Quick Cash Loans.  He gave the last four of my Social Security, the name of my Bank and my home address to me as items that were included in the investigation file.  I informed him that I received no such cash advance.  He then asked me if I have a lawyer.  I told him yes I do.  He stated that I needed to pay the $300 or the investigation would continue.  I asked him several times if the company stated that they put money in my account.  He would never answer my question in regards to that.  He said that he would mail documents to my home within 4 business days and that would have all the information.

I hung up and after thinking about it and getting angrier I called back.  He answered the phone with "Hello"  I asked about the file and he said he no longer had access to it as they had forwarded it on to another company for further investigation (Mind you it was only about 10-12 minutes after I hung up that I called back).  I ask for the name of the company filing charges and their phone number.  He would not give that to me stating that it would be included on the paper work that I receive in the mail.  I then asked for his company and he stated Federal Legislative Department Unit 15.  This is a scam.  I have never received any deposit in my account and want to warn all who may receive calls such as this.

I am receiving a few hundred calls at my work from these people.  It originated as this number out of PA this past weekend, then it has been a 1800 number since then.  Similar story to the one above.  Investigation has been launched, yad yada.  The weird thing is the guy calling ( he has a middle eastern accent) just seems to want to talk endlessly about nothing.  No request for money, etc.  He seems to just want to harass.

I received a call from this number he said that his name was Paul Jackson. H e then told me to hold on for Kevin. Kevin was the one handling my case. I spoke with Kevin and he told me that charges were being brought against me for $460 some dollars. He wouldn't provide his address or any other information. He had all my personal information and full SSN. I know ii is a scam but scary none the less. What can be done to stop these people ?

I received over 50 calls in a hour time period from this number.  The caller refused to identify himself.  I eventually got the name Kevin Tabor.  He would not identify his company or the nature of his call.  He kept referring to a 14 digit file number.  After repeated attempts to discern the nature of his call and refusing to give him any information, the caller became extremely vulgar.  He threatened me sexually and with violent physical harm to myself and family.  He is continuing to call even now, disrupting my work and tying up my business phone line.  I have reported him to the Federal Trade Commission and suggest that anyone else do the same.  this person is not professional and I do not believe him to be legitimate as I have no idea why he would be calling me.  The FTC can be reached at 877-382-4357.  

I received this same call about the same time last year. Was told I was going to be arrested for fraud...I have never been arrested. At the time I wasn't sure if they were legit or not. Your County Sheriff's Dept has a toll-free number you can call to verify if there is a warrant for you or not. Ease your mind, call and find out what low-life, lying scumbag, gutter-snipe, ghetto thugs are making FALSE threats in order to steal from you. The notify the FTC. It won't shut them down, as they skip numbers, but at least you are 1 step ahead of the scam, and maybe just maybe one day these creeps will be put behind bars where they belong!

So glad that I read this forum after receiving calls from this person at my place of business. These [***] kept calling my job insisting that I had received a loan from them for 4000 and that  a  case had been open against me. My husband figured it was a scam and he investigated the number and all their info to find out that they are in fact a company scamming to get your card number and process illegal payments to their selves Fraud Fraud !  I recommend changing passwords to everything that you have an account too. The idiots were Arabian what made them think they could pull a fast one on an educated woman!

I have had the same problem has the people above they claim that I had money deposited into my account.  He stated that they were going to garnish my wages and put a Warrant out for my arrest unless I paid 416.18 I am glad that I found these posts but it is scary to know they have obtained so much information about me.  I called the federal trade commission like What was suggested above and Thank God I did because they said it has been happening to a lot of people.  What they are doing is a federal offense and I hope they catch these scum bags!!!

This is a scam call that is calling my place of employment!! This needs to stop while I have applied for a loan I did not give out my personal employment number and I did not apply with them!!
