Call began with recorded greeting about reducing the interest on my credit cards. If I had an account balance of over $3000 and one card in good standing, I could press 1 to speak with a representative. There was no other option to remove my number to prevent further contact.

I pressed one. I instantly was answered by a representative. She would not give her name. I said I would not state whether I or not I have a balance, but would like my number removed. She hung up on me.

I tried to call back, but the number given above goes to an error Tone, not a Busy Tone, but more of an error tone, implying they do not receive calls.

Got this call on my work number

Received calls from this number on my cell phone. It was a recording that tried to sound like they were trying to collect on a past due account. The more I listened they were trying to get me to 'reduce' my credit card debt. I did not press 1 to talk to a representative.

I got this call on 7/28/11 and I got the same I pressed 1 and told the male rep that I don't have any card. He said he shows I do, when I asked with who he said a visa card through Card Service. After that statement he hung up on me I tried to call back and got a busy signal. I believe they want to get my ssn and personal info. If you do have and sort of credit card I would suggest not giving them any info because they are obviously fraud. If you happened to give them info report them to the police and make a documented statement because you can rest assured trouble will follow in the upcoming months.

Just got a call from them. It is a scam. These guys are fishing for personal info.

I just recieved a call from that number and have before but never answer it. They never leave a message. I assumed that it is a telemarketer. Thanks for this site and the posts!

Same call.  6th time in about 8 days, always from a different number, always to my cell phone.  Most numbers aren't even "properly" formatted (have 11 or 12 digits).  This time I pressed 1.  The guy answered after a bit "Card Services".  I said, "Yeah I'd like to be put on your do-not-call list".  The guy immediately hung up on me.

I have been receiving these calls now for 8 years. I changed my LAN line and the calls eventually came to the new number anyway. I have never pressed one. It is an information fishing scam and I can't believe no goverment entity can stop these harassing calls. I guess that's the society we live in now. Eight years!!! And these deadbeats never give up.

Just got a call. The caller ID said "wireless caller". No one answered. So not only a bad scam, but they can't even answer the phone?

received call- did not answer. Call back and it will ring once and then go rapid busy.

Just got the call... it was a missed call and they did not leave a message.  I wonder if they are getting ph.#'s off Facebook?  How many of you have your number listed there and a public account?

I got a call from this number 9:54am  and i couldnt hear the voicemail it was only 1 sec. I applied for a job in PA so i thought that was them calling me back. :(

This number claims to be a credit card agency. They do not respect the Do Not Call Registry. File an on-line complaint @ - https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. - The more people that do this the better chance we have of stopping them.

I pay for an unlisted telephone number and have also added my number to the "SUPPOSED" national do not call list but I too have gotten these calls! Same cenario,no information given and I was also hung up on and called back when I inquired about how and why they got my telephone number..

Jonathan, it may not be Facebook, because I got a call as well and my number's not on my page.  I guess you never know though!
Did anyone else start receiving calls like this AFTER they registered on the official do-not-call list??  That's when they started on my cell phone.

Got this call, it was  a recorded message about "lowering credit card interest rates" - telemarketer.
I just hanged up. I'm so tired of solicitation phone calls.

Also got the call, but dial tone immediately upon answering. I tried calling it back (suspecting it was a telemarketer) and got a keypad stroke sound, and then beep beep beep beep beep like a disconnect.

Irritating. Glad there is this forum to see who else is getting calls from this number.

I got this same call a few minutes ago, pressed 1 and got some sleezy agent trying to get info. And I have been getting e couple of these same calls every day - always from a different number. But same recording. Funny thing is, I started getting them the day after I registered my cell phone number on the Goverment's "Do Not Call" website. www.donotcall/default.aspx
Which now looks very bogus. Got the email from a friend and thought it legit. WRONG !!!

I just recieved a call from this number, and they said what everyone else is saying. This "call" is total fraud and I suggest you not  give them ABSOLUTLY NONE of your information, if you do im sure you'll find out exactly why you shouldn't have.The only people that should be calling you about your credit cards is the company thru which you have them, never ever ever ever ever give out any kind of information to anyone else, and if you get a call claiming they are your card provider, you should throughly research if they are who they say they are before giving them information.

Just received a call from this number on my cell. Did not answer since it did not have ( ) and - as normally show up on incoming calls. No message was left. I Googled number and found this info.
