Scam trying to switch electric supplier / won't answer questions when asked / person on the phone should run for office

We receive calls from this number all the time to our local business.  Very annoying most of the time the call doesn't even connect.

These folks contacted me saying they had received my information from PECO; that through PECO I was, yes (they had to check their records) I was eligible and had been enrolled for extreme reductions in my electric bill.  Did I have my bill available for them to review with me?

I was in the car driving; I am moving in a few months.  I told them "no" and that I did not believe them.  I had not enrolled in anything.  They insisted PECO enrolled me.  I had not seen anything to that effect, that I am on the do not call list,  and thanked them for the call.  Better luck next time.

I work for this company and most of thepeole we call is paying iver 10cents per kwh and wonder why there bill high peco not going to call because they dont handle that pportion of the nill no more so they dont care what they pay but we save people money all day everyday and we're licensed to do it sorry for the people that says not interested

If you talk in the same illiterate language that you write in I can see why people would think that you are trying to scam them.  You obviously did not graduate grade school as you can neither spell nor compose a coherent sentence.
I would say that possibly your translating software has a bit of a glitch in it, actually a very large glitch.

By the way the electric companies that sell power are certainly not non profit as can be attested to the company balance sheets and income statements as well as the fact that the stockholders receive regular dividends.

You do realize that .799 is 69.9 cents higher than 10 cents right?

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

We keep getting calls here from 215-330-3580 and other unlisted numbers in Levittown, PA.   No matter how many times we say hello, all we hear is dead air.  No voice.  It's as if it's calling out on an auto-dialer but the call isn't being connected to the representative, or as if they don't want to talk to us after they hear our exasperated answers of "Hello!" repeatedly.  So, I tried looking up the number on the reverse look-up sites, and it's listed as a "private" number.  If this is an electric company calling, it can't be any type of legitimate service, because they would never call in that manner if they were a decent company.  Also, their phone number wouldn't be "private" if they were a public utility company that is legitimate.  We've been on the national Do Not Call list since February, 2014, because we work odd hours.  It never fails that these inconsiderate callers awaken one of us at our 2:00 AM or 4:00 AM.  So, let's say we're more than a bit upset with them.  So, I'm calling the PA State Police next, to see if there is a law, preventing repeated, hang-up, annoyance calls. We are new to PA.  They can't hide phone numbers from police investigating annoyance calls in some states.  Wish I could provide the name and will gladly re-post if we find the name of the sketchy business.

How can we stop these calls?  Is there no way to stop them. Do not call list is a joke!

Dear ????,  Your company BOTHERS and annoys many people all day, by continually calling them on the phone via a number that they were required to provide to their electricity distributor.  You should be ashamed of what your company does.  If the electricity buyers in PA don't yet know that they can save money by shopping for electricity, then they deserve to pay 10 cents/kwh.  In the meantime, your company wastes the time and energy of the rest of us, a much larger number, who have to deal with all the calls.

Get calls from whoever constantly. Come up on my caller ID as Pennsylvania and then the no. Also uses different no.s.
610-555-6769.I don't answer these calls. whoever they are they can either leave a message or quit calling. If there is no message then you know it's someone wanting to sell you something or a scam of some sort.

I figured it's more than 1 company for this number. If you're a business people can call whenever...but with deregulation in the state we are always going to get calls. So can't be mad at them be mad at the state. How many of you have suppliers that have saved you money? There the same people that has been calling and they call from computer system if u don't answer in time the calls do hang up automatically.
