Telemarketing company calling me about Windows on my computer...It's a scam to get your personal Info. Please help them get caught.

Man with East Indian accent saying he was calling regarding my computer.  Total scam phishing for personal information.

Woman who hardly spoke English said they were from Microsoft and I had a computer problem.  I asked her if she had on a headset or was holding the phone.  She thought for a minute and then said headset.  I asked her if she could get a handset as I could not hear her good on the headset.  Some few seconds and clicks later, she said she was on a handset and asked how it sounded.  I told her it sounded great, I wanted her to hear me loud and clear, and I told her to take that handset and stick it up her @$$ and hung up.  Funny, they did not call back, been two days now.

Just received same phone call, same person about.  I was wondering, when did Microsoft start calling ALL of their users with personal help?  I informed the caller my anti everything was working fine and he said that stuff is no good.   There must be some dummies out there who give them all their personal info.  I just said "not-today."   Ya gotta love stupit!

Left rambling message on answering machine, none of which I understood as between foreign accent & her soft low voice was un-decipherable. No idea at all what they wanted. Caller ID said Pennsylvania

Called at 5:44 pm CST. Jamaican woman with the same old Microsoft scam. Said she needed to check my computer.Hung up on me when I told this scam was so old and she really needed to find a new one.

Just got  a call from this number that I did not recognize.  Caller ID. So did not pick up.

gave me some bull that they were from Microsoft and needed to fix the error and warnings in my event viewer by following their steps. these warnings and error messages are not dangerous. do not listen to them if they call you

As I recognized that this was likely a scam call by the phone number, I simply hit "Talk" and then quickly, "Off" on my phone.  You know, there really is little point of the DNC efforts when these buttsmears can call using any fictional number (or spoofed) that they want.  I'm pretty sure that these dumbasses aren't really calling from Philly.  Just like the one I got the other day who stole the number from a dentist in Edmonton (I'm in Ontario).  Really people?  
I just wish there were fewer stupid people in the world cause these scammers would not call if dumb people would not fall for this stuff. They'd have to go back to robbing people on the street but unfortunately, the odds are someone will fall for their crap and they can sit comfortably in their cubicle in India and harass people until some poor dumb soul hands over their credit card number for fear their computer has "errors".  Just say no or better yet, never answer the phone unless you recognize the number!  Even if you don't, a legitimate person or business will leave a real phone number and message.  

I have received a call from this number numerous times.  I DON'T EVEN OWN A COMPUTER!!!

They called me saying my computer was infected. They didn't have any details but my name and phone number saying it was a MS operating system. When I told them I was uncomfortable and that they seemed like a scam they immediately hung up. Defintely not a number you want to be giving information to.

un homme parlant anglais m'a téléphoné hier... comme je lui ai demandé si quelqu'un parlait Français il a raccroché.. ce soir il recommence c'est le même homme et il se présente comme un technicien de window et me dit qu'il m'appelle concernant mon window,,,, je lui bafouille en anglais que je ne comprend pas ce qu'il me dit... il me CRIE après qu'il appelle de WINDOWS et qu'il m'appelle pour mon COMPUTER !!! je lui dis WOW arrete de crier apres moi et je raccroche !!!

Pour une deuxième journée de suite, un homme parlant anglais téléphone pour me mentionner que mon ordinateur a un problème. Je lui mentionne que je ne parle pas anglais. Il devient alors plus agressif dans son ton. Je lui dis de ne plus téléphoner ou je porte plainte à la police.

I received a call today but there have been a few others , very thick accent ,  when did  window Microsoft technicians made house calls. What a JOKE!!!

I got the usual Microsoft BS- now they are starting to get vulgar and sexual- I called my ISP providers- they say sorry nothing we can do- I said then if you can't protect my identity= and you cant tell who is calling me - then maybe it is time for a new provider - they are getting my number somewhere-  Man with an accent-

Got this call at 7am on a Monday saying (in an Middle East accent) that he was "from the technical dept calling about the computer." I said ITS 7 AM DONT CALL ME! And hung up as I could hear him talking in the back ground. Caller ID said Pennsylvania. Doubtful.

Just what I wanted to wake up to @ 7 am.    It took me saying 'Hello' 3 times before some girl with an Indian accent answered.    I hung up immediately and then tried calling back, just to 'bug' them.  Question:  How is it that 'They' can call me, but when I call them, the line is not in service?  

they called me at 6:53am tuesday morning on october 28 2014 -STOP- why in the hell are you calling me at that time I dont appreciate it and will report it as never call before 9 am you stupid people cant talk english anyway dont understand you sieze calling i dont want anything your selling or want to be awaken at this time

Just had these people call claiming that they had this ID number that they had my name and address and phone number and everything. I asked him if he had all my information, how come he asked to speak with the "owner of the computer" and not for me by name. He said, he just wanted to make sure he was speaking to the person who was in charge of the computer. He tried to assure me that he was not after my credit information, but I hung up on him.
