Received call from Indian guy who claimed I had been awarded a $9000.00 grant from the government. Have gotten these type of calls before so I told him no thanks and hung up. Most likely a scam.

Received call from Indian guy who claimed I had been awarded of few thousand dollars grant from the government. I asked him to remove my business number form his list and he started cussing at me.

said he was from IRS

Injun scammer recording pretending to be the IRS telling me I'll be arrested if I don't call their scam central number. All the scams coming from the place makes a person dislike the residents of India - they really should do something about it.

Called from an India lady claiming she is from Mircosoft and want to file a claim against me for using Window. Want more info about me. Told her I will call FBI about her

Phone scammers are at it again.  Some joker called from 1-215-412-6314  saying there is a partition with my name on it and before I get arrested for tax fraud and tax evasion.  Hahahaha what an idiot.  He asks you to call back at 703-504-1704 be warned.

Same as zardoz.  Indian accent telling me I'm about to be arrested for tax evasion and to call them back at another number.
Does anyone really believe these guys?  They must think we are all pretty stupid.

Received a call from an Indian guy calling for   someone named Kevin Fowler. Told him he had the wrong number,  he told me not to lie. As I started to tell him where to shove it,  he hung up.

caller said her name was Ashley and she said that this number was selected to receive a government grant of $9000.00 dollars that doesn't have to be paid back I said this number is listed on the government do not call list please remove my name and number from your list Ashley replied if you don't want the money were not going to force you then I hung up on her in mid sentence fraudulent scammer thats not how government grants are distributed you have to apply

Got a call from the number last week.  Told the guy to f**k himself and hung up.  Same guy called back a minute later and called me every name in the book.  Told him to get a real job.  A few minutes later another guy called from the same number.  I explained to him why they were a bunch of crooks.  Asked him where he was calling from and he said Texas.  I told him I am from Texas but he didn't talk like he was andI  hung up.  Got a call again a few minutes ago for my wife.  Told him she isn't here and asked if I could take a message.  He hung up.

I having been calls form so many different numbers in the past 2 months. I am looking for a job and I believe that this is how they are getting my number. Some of the jobs posted are bogus ans just a way to get name, address, email and phone number. I try not to apply unless I can check out the company but sometimes the company is anonymous. They have all been from India.

I've been receiving calls from them and my phone# is unlisted. Very few people (only a few close family and two friends) have it as it's a land-line and I mostly use my cell phone. Everyone I want to have my cell# has it, and only very few also have this land-line # in case of emergency -- even the doctors office and others don't have my unlisted # that they call.

So that's why I think they are calling randomly and using a computerized system that calls numbers randomly.

I never answer and they don't leave a msg. I am not going to get into a conversation with an idiot who has no business calling me in the first place, anymore than I would argue with a salesperson/solicitor who was at my front doorstep.

Just received a call from this number. Said it was out of Lansdale, PA. I answered and the line was dead. It ended up being a prank call. We are on the National DNC Registry but they don't seem to understand. DO NOT CALL!!!!!

Getting into a conversation or an argument with them even if it's only one quick statement is the WORST thing you can do. It gives them a reason to keep calling back. They call people to get them all riled up so don't give them what they want and they'll stop calling. Don't answer the phone, let it ring, and delete their message if they leave one. B

Indian guy called from this number several times now.  Always a "government grant".  Total scam.  Hung up on him now there times.  Knew my number, so he has number and name.

Also got a call from this number...  Also telling me I was to be awarded a Government grant for $9000...  I said you can mail it to me, then they gave me a number to call back   a Mr. Howard Brown  at 206-317-1315...   I did not call that number and now 2 days later I get another call, same story, but from a woman instead of a man...  Both foreign with heavy accent, couldn't understand most of what they said, I hung up on her.  Obviously this is a scam...  They always want you to confirm name and then ask for address etc...  I never volunteer any information.  If they are calling me they should already know my name and address...  Scary enough they know my name.....

These people won't leave me alone!  It's borderline harassment!  They've called me from a million different numbers claiming to be with the government. They've cussed me out to which I laughed and said "seriously you are from the US government and you just cussed out a woman"?  They can't even say my name right so when they ask for me I say "there's no one by that name here" because my name isn't "Abbbrilll". I have blocked about 4 of their numbers and today I got one from San Francisco and then this one. I'm on the do not call list but it isn't working. I told the guy I was going to turn them in and he laughed and said he would notify the FBI. Why dont they leave me alone!?!?!?  Clearly I'm not dumb enough to give them money or information!?!

Received call from Indian girl saying she's from Federal Govt. issuing $9,000 grant under my name and asking for my personal stuff. Don't trust this Indian phone scammers. They need to rot in jail.

I have been getting these calls for two months now. I have reported these fraudsters to the FBI and FTC.  I told these people if they call again I WILL have to go to the federal authorities again and I will file a criminal complaint against them.  I have even told my cell phone provider. there is an irony to all this: I have a family member who works for the U.S. government.

If you have a smart phone, then download a free call blocker, or some apple phones already have one installed.  If you don't have a smart phone, Call your cell carrier and have them change the number of rings from 4 to maybe 8.  Then assign the number in you contact list as no ring.  No more annoying calls, and most likely they will hang up before they get to the voice mail.
