- SMWKeeps calling and no message left
- EMFGot a call from this number and I answered. The recording stated if I felt I was being called in error to press 1... I did. Then someone answered and asked me why I was calling. I laughed and said you called me. He said "Oh I did? Well lets just see". He asked what my phone number was I said really? You called me! Checking again he asked if my number was such 'n such and I said yes and asked if my name was so 'n so. I responded yes and then he started to go into his scripted message, "well as you know"... and all of a sudden I was listening to a dial tone. I called the number back and low and behold I let it ring 100 times and then I hung up no machine or person picked up. The gentleman spoke perfect English but had the mentality of a Walnut! Laughing the whole time he was asking me questions. Has to be a college kid or even an adult trying to scam people out of money by intimidation. Sorry Walnuto you lose!

- Frustrated with Scammers| 1 replyJust received a call from this number 215-501-7236.Recording said if they've reached the wrong number press 1. So I did and low and behold the drama begins. The guy asks me how can he help me and I said you called me. Then he proceeded to say he was from some litigation company from cash advance america and that my partner and I did an online application for a cash advance in 2013 to such and such account. I told him I KNOW THAT"S A LIE because that account has been closed for 2 yrs and besides we were in bankruptcy and have never done any type of cash advance loans. Then he said i'll note the account and good luck and I said no good luck to you dummy

- A replies to Frustrated with ScammersI just got a call from them Friday. I can't even count how many of these ridiculous numbers I have blocked on my phone. And they have the nerve to get an attitude. These people are insane!!!
- Markcalled them back and they had all my personal info from a cash advance that I made in 2013 in a state I didn't even live in! So of course I messed with them, tried to get the guy on the other line to quit his job and start up a scam company with me. I asked why their line is a registered magic jack number. These tools live and work out of Florida. Stupid college people trying to get rich quick by stealing others money. They offered me a "restitution settlement" but it is done by a 3rd party company, so they never collect the money. I laughed. Ask to speak to CJ Mosely, who is also a football player. They are quite funny when they start to talk. I asked to speak to their legal department, and asked where a one Elizabeth James, went to law school. She did not go to law school, yet runs the legal department. I also asked to speak to a Cole, who has the intelligence of a mule. They are fun to mess with, and I asked what federal laws I broke and the codes next to them. They didn't have that information....right. It is quite comical. Their address or so they say, is 211 Cherry St, Philly, PA. This address does not exist, but something close is an apartment building. I asked the guy how he gets to work, he said the bus drops him off in front of the work. I looked up the bus schedule and stops and asked which one he got off at. He says he didn't know. I asked if he was located next to the US Mint, as their address shows, they said no. It was funny. Made my day! I will continue to call back as they harass me with their BS.

- Jeremy Harmon replies to RyanHello, I'm getting calls from this company as well. According to whitepages.com, their number is issued by level3 Communications (a VoIP company).
I'm trying to put together a dossier on this company with the intent of turning it over to a Federal Prosecutor. This page is filled with people who have not been taken in by these people, but how many people aren't clever enough to see through what they're doing?
I would appreciate any information anyone has to offer regarding calls they receive. Email me the details of your calls at jeremy_harmon@rocketmail.com. It is my hope that we can get someone to take this criminal activity seriously.

- EllyGot a call and they said they were collecting for a company called Net Cash and I owed them money which I know is not true, I told them that I knew that they were a scam and I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and my attorney told me to get their address which they didn't give me so I said that my attorney wants them to send me documents in the mail and he would look at it, they hung up. I also told them that they were harassing me.
- Caller: wouldn't give me the name
- sick and tired of these idiotsThey use different numbers but i'm ahead of them on this BS. Got so many calls from these idiots its ridiculous. I received calls from them about a month ago stating that I too had taken out a payday loan from a cash advance usa in 2008 which was supposedly done with a bank account that I didn't have since 2004...1st clue to their scam, and second of all never with some cash advance usa...2nd clue to their scam. So I just ignored their calls and then they would leave msgs stating that I was going to be served papers and going to court...which obviously never happened...nonetheless I wasn't worried about that at all because I knew that they were a scam. They also gave me some phony address which this one was located in New York...but no such address even existed...But anyway after they left me the msg about being served papers and going to court, that was suppose to be their final call to me. Well guess what....there baaaack...calling me again. I thought I wasn't suppose to hear from them again...bwahahahahah! Dumb Dumb Dumb!! but yet very annoying!

- Gunnar replies to SHAWNYou little fraudsters never learn. First of all, stop using the name "Shawn" for your alias. Raj, we're tired of hearing from "Shawns". What kind of old American TV shows do they play in India? Is that vile looking woman sitting next to you using the alias "Monica Brady"? Tell your boss man, "Mr. Howell", that you've screwed up. Again.
Damn! You Indian fraud monkeys are funny! Thanks "Financial Litigation"! You've just put a grin on peoples mouths. Wait a minute, you just got giggles & outright belly laughs! With frauds like you out there, the laughs will never end!
Skeff Ett Liv!

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:
is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.
If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.
Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft – charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>
