Called and left a detailed message about someone elses debt. Saved the voicemail. Will report to Bar. Working hard to get morons who practice Harassment instead of Law disbarred.

got a call from this idiot also, he wanted info on my mother in law.  Didn't give him any.  Don't know how he got my numbers as they are both unlisted and unpublished.

Don't put up with this!!!! This collection agency is named like a lawyer on a call ID from your phone memory.  It wasn't a correct title for a lawyer's Phone #.  Besides, what lawyer will waist time making phone calls for small money at 8:30pm?!!  This one tried to act like a law office.  These agencies have no right to false pretense.  Their threatening conversation is rediculous!  The only interest or facts they have & know?  They buy them!  These lying phone callers will use any threat, false pretense they can think of.  This collection company purchases their "facts" from the co.  who cannot attempt a collection for whatever their reason.  After (usually 48 mnths) time the original seekers are not allowed to attemp any longer. They sell lists & contacts to agencies.  That will be the only money allowed.  After them the new collectors can try for collection for that same time. Be careful & don't let these false presentationsfoll you. Check for harrasement mail - it won't be original/authentic co stationary from the "owed" company.  Anything tp pay for their own purchase to make them money.  Suprise, Suprise!!!  Not all of us are afraid of threats; nice actings or nasty ones!!  Trace #'s & look on line.

This company is calling people that I haven't spoke to in years and they are neighbors of a relative and I haven't seen or spoke them in years they have no clue what's going on and when I called back they have no idea why they are even looking for me I'm not even in there system as a collection or anything how can u stop them from harassing people and family!

best thing to do is call back 5 or more time and play a baby crying from you-tube..if we all do this..they might get the hint they are a bunch of [***].. i did it, they stopped so far ..lets all join in..it get very funny after a while...lol

Called my cellphone around 6:30 pm, left a message like, "This is Mr Burnstein
from the law offices of ......   and that I need to call him back on an 800 number
to discuss a very important matter.  I do not know any "Burnstein".

Just got a call this morning and they were looking for my Dad.  I figured it was a scam, now I now for sure after reading all this!  How can they get away with all this for so many years.  I have seen complaints on them from 2007!

These jerks keep calling me and won't leave me alone. Little do they know they can't do anything to me until they seek legal action in county I live in. They have no authority to do anything to anyone for that matter until they seek legal action through the court house of your local county. They are 1500 miles away from me. If they are legal or not, DO NOT BE AFRAID of these people!

Just received a message from this "firm" looking for someone that is not related to me, but has the same last name.  How he got my cell phone is interesting as it is not available

This idiot calls looking for someone and sfays it is a business matter and starts asking quesations if I know this person and where they are.  He is from Tom Landus LLC but will not tell me why he has called.  When asked the nature of his business, he hangs up.  How do I block this jerk from my phone?

They have called my home phone, cell phone & my work phone looking for a relative!  We have told them repeatedly that we have no information and they should stop calling!  Yet they still call.  I am going to file a complaint with our states attorney general!  This madness has GOT to stop!!

Received a call from this number on my cell asking for Andreas or something like that. When I told the person they must have the wrong number, the person very rudely said " Yeah right, I've heard it all before, this is the number she called me from. I'll just keep calling back." And then hung up on me. I immediately called the number back from a land line, told the person that answered that I had received this very rude call on my private cell for a person that is not me and that I do not know. Also told them that the caller was very rude, told me that they would keep calling, and hung up on me. The person told me that it did not sound like one of his people, and without knowing the full name of the person they were calling for he could not tell who was calling. I told him I didn't care who called, but that I wanted my private cell number removed from any and all future activity, and that any future calls would be reported as harassment. What I would like to know is how the heck do they get your phone number if it is unlisted, unpublished, I am getting calls from them, but I am never home when they call, and they never leave messages, their number shows on my caller ID.

I keep getting calls from this place looking for someone with my same last name.   They call my house and my cell.  I have asked MANY times for them to stop and that they have the wrong number.  On my caller id it came up as McGuigan Law- same number.  So tired of being harassed by this company who is obviously looking for someone else.

Mr. Wood called me and my ex-husband looking for my brother; claimed needed location information; claimed he had spoken to family in New Jersey (lie); claimed he had spoken to brother's ex-wife (she's dead); wouldn't reveal nature of business, call or any other details.

This is very confusing. I have a law firm calling on this number. Once they say they are with McGuigan Law firm then call and say they are from Landis Law firm.

They are calling friends, family, etc. and disclosing information about my debt and harrassing with calling over and over. I recently sent a cease and desist to the address on the letterhead recieved from McGuigan Law firm. Since, I received another call and advised them that I had just sent such a letter certified to them regarding cease and desist and they said they did not get it.

I told them address I sent it to and was told that was no longer their address and gave me yet another address. Additionally I have gotten different answers from that office when I asked why the Landis Law firm and the McGuigan Law firm have the same phone numbers. Have been told different answers. Will send letters to the new address provided.
