I got one today from that number too.  Did not answer and I don't know it.

I also received a call from them at 5:30. No voicemail.

It's a survey company calling on behalf of Comcast.

They call 4-5 times a day - at least.  It's Great American Power Company.  Trying to switch PECO Customers... it's a Huge Profitable SCAM for them.

You will only end-up paying more money to them.  They are prmitte dto be your Disribution Supplier, which is about 10% of your Energy Bill, they claim you'll save 10% - that's 10% off their 10% portion of the Elec Bill. So you might save 1%... but,, shortly, afterwards the Rate goes up & you'll pay more.  Some of these suppliers, will give you a $50 Gift card, if you cancel within 2 years, you'll pay that back plus penalties, similar to Cell Phone Early Termination Charges.

I keep getting calls from this number. They leave no message and when I pick up no one is on the other line.  I get these calls every other day.  This is annoying!

I finally answered after like 30 calls... this is how the conversation went.

Caller: "Can I speak with the person in charge of your Duquesne Light bill?"
Me: "That's me."
Caller: "Did you know you're per-approved for a rate discount?"
Me: "So you're another energy provider?"
Caller: "Yes this is Oasis Energy."
Me: "I'm happy with Duquesne Light. Is there a reason you keep calling but don't leave messages?"
Caller: "Sir we're not allowed to leave messages."
Me: "But you're allowed to telemarket?"
Caller: "We don't consider ourselves telemarketers. Robert you have a great evening." *hangs up*

I have been getting calls from this number since at least August.  Now it's January and over the past month, they've ramped up their calling to once a week, and now almost every day.  Today I finally answered it.  Nobody spoke on the other end and they hung up on me.  I just want it to stop.

Received a call but they hung up. I called the number back & recording answered Oasis Energy..."Please hold for the next availab
le agent"... I hung up.

I too get these calls almost weekly now. I've answered a few times and told them I wasn't interested in switching utility companies and they still call..

They called me today. the connection was not to good and they never mentioned another company than duquesne light. so i thought it would be a change of contract within duquesne light and i agreed. however i have 10 business day to cancel. do i have to adress my cancelation to oasis energy??

These people keep calling me everyday but never leave a message.  I answered and nobody spoke to me.  I find this to be very annoying.

Yes this number jusr called me, identifying as Oasis Energy, to switch plans. She wanted me to get out tax documents to. I wasn't about to share that kind of info, so I said I'm not signing up for anything today, but you can send me something in writing. She immediately said "Have a nice day sir". The number is not verifiable online as anything legit.

I recommend not doing business with this number.

I have been getting these calls two or three times a day since someone didn't like me on face book.  I have no idea who it is, but it is harrassing. They do not leave a message and when I answer they hang up.

When I answered they actually told me they WERE duquesne light and asked if I lived at an address that I lived at a year ago.  I said no and they hung up.

They called a million times - never left message. I finally answered - they said they will save me money by switiching me from Duquesne light to them. I said send me some documentation, they said they can't til after I sign up! I said absolutely not! I asked them not to call. They called again today and hung up as soon as I answered. I called back and got recording to wait for next available blah blah blah.... then "Angie" answered. I said she needs to remove me from her list. She said ok and hung up. I promptly called her back, went through same recording, and "Angie" answered again. I said "Angie, you can't remove me from you list if you don't have my name and number", to which she replied "I already have it and have removed it" and hung up on me.........I'm waiting for the next call............

They just called me and said they were a partner of Duquesne Light. These [***] called me for the past 2 months and I never picked up. Finally, I did. My conversation was similar to Robert's above except I wasn't so polite.

These scammers also call from 570-221-6083. I take the opportunity to take out a lot of built-up anger and stress on them when they call, so it's sort-of therapeutic for me.

someone from great american power called me and said that they were duquense lite company and offering me a 10 percent discount..i asked them if they were duquesne lite and they said yes..i didnt believe them an told them i wasnt intrested..i know this wont be the last call so im reporting them to evey agency i can..we all should do the same
