I also got a call literally just now. Forwarded them to VM didn't leave me one, but when I googled the number i clicked on a link that was for yellow pages and it said LF Driscoll so googled them, and they came up as contractors like construction- an the name comcast was randomly in one of the google link views, but if you white pages the number it said android user! Then I found one that said financial litigations. So who knows, I usually answer them by saying "good afternoon, thank you for calling the federal bureau of investigations fraud department how may I help you?" They usually hang up

The left a message on my work phone.  The message states to press 1.  I decided to call them back the phone rang for over 20 times.  Finally a message starts out "Fraud Investigations and that it!!  They are a scam and report them because sooner or later they will be caught.  What they do is get your phone number when you have a one time or another got any type of loan over the internet.  Number one you will not ever get a phone call stating that you will get an affidavit.  Number two you will not get a phone call that someone coming to your house to arrest you.  Don't let these scammers scare you.  Don't give them any money at all.  Ask them to send you proof, tell them to talk to your attorney because they will then say "Oh I have to transfer you to talk to someone else.

Hi I got the same call. I am actually tracking them down in hopes to continue a report with the FTC- Do not- provide them personal information. What tipped me off is they kept referencing to a checking account which was included in a fraud investigation years ago. My account was hit with unauthorized transactions which resulted in the account being shut down. Just off of the mere fact they had this account number makes me believe they are the original predators. It was confirmed through a confidential informant working with this company they currently have around 20 employees making these calls and they are located in PA- but not at the 211 Cherry St in Philadelphia, PA

    Confused replies to Pistoff consumer
Got a call referring to the same junk. I talked to a lot of people at this place trying to get more information. They all said they are on Cherry Street. I wonder if I spoke to the confidential informant.. I must have talked to 10 different people. I called the FCC and they said that they are registered as processing company in Philadelphia with a PO box on file. Did you talk to them? The informant is probably working for the FTC i would guess.

Ignore them.  Total scam.  Felony charges are handled by your local DA.  There's no way a debt collector would know one way or the other what charges the DA is gong to file.  DA's don't let debt collectors in on their operations.  Debt collectors have no power of arrest and you can't be arrested for ordinary civil debt.  These scammers always try to magically transform a civil debt like payday loan into some kind of felony.  Total clap-trap.  Don't talk to them.  Don't give them any information and block their calls.

Fraudulent or Zombie Debt Collectors—Things to Know

If you have received a call stating:

    1. You have defrauded a financial institution
    2. You owe an unpaid payday loan
    3. You have a warrant due to an unpaid loan
    5. You will receive a court summons
    6.  Authorities are coming to arrest you
    7.  Anything similar to above,
     a.   Do not give them any information or verify any information for them
     b.   Tell them you know they are a scam operating illegally and that you are   filing a complaint with the  appropriate authorities
Call blocker is your best bet.
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).
    * File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage     http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
    * File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in

They continue to bother  you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.

    I don't understand
I saw they called me earlier today. I decided to call back and this man by the name of Cole Trickle (which sounds totally fake) indicated to me that I need an attorney. He said that he was from the Office of Litigation. I worked in law enforcement for 8 years and I have never heard of it.  I then asked for what and he stated to me I thought that you were informed already. He told me that I got a loan and I never paid it back. I told him that it was a lie because I have been having the same account for over 15 years and it was no way it could possibly happen. So, I'm with the rest of you felons I have check fraud and theft. (LOL)!! Please let me know how to stop these people. I let him know that I will be blocking them and please don't call me again. They have too much information on file for us. They make me want to change my number and bank account information. So sad and a bunch of B.S!
