- I get them almost daily. I've started to play along after they obviously aren't putting me on their do not call list.
If you give them the make and model of any car, they will then ask for your zip code. Today, I gave them a wrong zip code, they asked if I was in a certain city and I lied and they said "wrong" and hung up on me.
If you ask them anything other than about a warranty, they hang up on you.
- joie2 Jul 2008yeah, i didn't answer it, but i got a voicemail saying i had to renew my warranty. i have never had a warranty on my vehicle. i used to work at a call center, and by law, if you tell them not to call you again, they aren't allowed to. that goes for any sales or survey call you receive. hope they try me again, i'm a nightmare.
