I got a call on both my company phone and my cell number around 615pm

It is Verizon wireless

it is verizon. pay your bill or you payed it very late or  behind alot or
all of the above have a nice day.

Verizon calls me every month, asking me if I am Brian Beaver press 1, I am not Brian Beaver, do not know a Brian Beaver.  A little unsettling this time, they say if Brian Beaver does not pay his bill by tomorrow, they will turn off the phone.  They better not turn off my phone, they just better find Brian Beaver.  I called my service provider Verizon Cellular, they cannot reach a human at this number either.  Block the number, but Verizon said I will have to block it again, as it is only valid until 12/29/11.  Come on Verizon cannot you not tell that there is no Brian Beaver connected to MY phone #.

If you want these calls to stop just call Verizon Wireless customer service and let them know they are calling the wrong person and they will take your number off there list.  They are a collections division of Verizon trying to collect payments on there accounts.  Or just pay your bill and the calls will stop.

Was 2 weeks behind paying bill. Paid and am now current. That was a week ago, new bill is not due for another week. Still getting calls. Annoying.

I have been reading the post that this is a call from Verizon....My carrier is AT & T...What the heck?

Not sure who it is.  The recording claims to have a important message about my Verizon Wireless account. If that were so, why would they be calling my landline?

They call twice a day, I am up to date on my bills. The name they say is correct, but none of my bills have ever been late or unpaid!! Is this even legit??

I received a call from this number, and it was a Rebecca from a company called Award Government Jobs or something like that.  She said they were an independent consulting firm that assisted businesses in obtaining products to bid with the federal government.  

She originally asked for a person who is no longer with our company.  When I asked what this call was regarding to see if I could direct her to another person, she said "Uhh.....uuumm...." and there was a long pause before she then answered.  I'm pretty sure she had lost her script for a minute, and couldn't remember what company she was making cold calls for.  And it was obvious from her long answer that she had no idea what she was talking about, and that she was reading from a script.  I put her to a voicemail.  Thought that was pretty funny. You'd think they'd be more prepared to answer a simple question such as, "What is this call regarding?"

This is a debt collector for ALL cell phone companies. Yes I have a debt with t mobile, the only reason its not paid yet is because the amount is wrong. Now I have 5 creditors coming after me for 1 bill with 6 different amounts. I sent them validation letters over a month ago and still nothing but phone calls.

I called this phone number and it answers as "ERC", which I'm assuming is debt collector Enhanced Recovery Company, LLC.  If you owe a debt to someone, I would assume that's why they are calling you.  If you are not behind in any of your bills, then it's possible they are calling the wrong number.

I called the # back... no one answered.  Then there's a recording that they can't take my call... then disconnected.  They call me at work - I don't use verizon for business or personal phones.

I keep getting calls from this number about government contracts.

I am getting calls from this number as well saying we are working out of our federal contract. I believe it is another stupid collect call we always get here at our office. One year people are saying it's a Verizon number and now in 2014 it's a federal government number? Yeah I highly doubt this is real....
