Got a call from this number 2156021073.  Not recognized so I let it go to voice mail.  The automated message said I am being sued by the IRS and I should immediately call the number back.  Total scam.  The IRS states on their website that they do not call tax payers with such notices.  Any official contact from the IRS comes through USPS only.  Don't fall for this crap.

I received a call with the same IRS message.  I called back, and the (very difficult to understand, non-English speaking) person said he was calling for someone who's name is not mine.  When I told him he had the wrong number, he insisted he was calling for me.  I hung up. I agree - it is a total scam.

Recorded msg saying I'm being sued by the IRS -- this is a scam.  Caller ID said "Cell Phone    PA"

They just called me! Why do these people think they are that smart to where people will fall for this boofoolery? Then when you call back, you can barely understand them. #TryAgain

I answered but only caught immediately call some number to keep something from happening. Assumed it was raud and came to web to check it and just as I suspected!

This is crazy.

Got a message on my machine from 215-602-1074 stating this was Officer Michael Austin of the IRS and that I'm being sued by them and to call back for information. I called back knowing its a scam and was asked to confirm my name, address, and phone number (which they had and I did). When I asked 'Officer Michael Austin' why IRS was calling to tell me about this and not mailing me written notification of the suit, he called me a '[***] ass' and then threatened me. When I called back an 'Officer Shawn Marshall' answered the phone and when I asked to speak with 'Officer Michael Austin', he hung up on me.

Call saying I would be sued by iris . For anyone reading this the IRS does NOT call, all notices are done by U.S.MAIL.
