Please be aware. Sounds like a scan of some kind.- Caller: AARP
- Brandy| 2 repliesThis is for AARP Supplemental Medicare Insurance. I received 2 calls today & answered the 2nd - just confirming application acceptance and confirming that your info packet is shipping.
- WalterSomeone called claiming to be from AARP. They asked for me by name and when I identified myself, they said the call was made in error and stated it was a "legitimate" call. Then they hung up.
- TONY| 7 repliesI don't respond to any number I don't recognize and less to any number that does not leave a message........The world is full of crooks.........Why does our government not do anything about this constant invasion of our privacy and unauthorized use of our phone numbers????????
- Web Geek| 1 replyIt is from AARP Health, 4 Walnut Dr, Horsham PA 19044. They won't talk with you unless you give them some of your private information. I'd suggest refusing the call. Seems like a sales call.
- Caller: AARP
- Call type: Telemarketer
- NotonmyphoneI had a long discussion with the caller (named Gail) who seemed amazed that I wouldn't give her my information. She was very pleasant and very persistant. NEVER give personal information to someone that you haven't called yourself !!!

- tdGot a call on my cell from Nicole who said she was with AARP Healthcare Solutions. She badly mispronounced my easy to pronounce name. I corrected her on that and she didn't seem to care at all what the correct pronunciation is. Then when I refused to verify some info, she asked me to verify other info; my birthday and something else I can't recall. I laughed when she asked and refused. She wished me a happy day and ended the call.
I think it was a sales call... or worse. This outfit needs to be shut down.- Caller: AARP Healthcare Solutions. Maybe.
- Hippie Grannie| 3 repliesThis is an automated call from AARP Health, United Health Care medigap plans. It was in response to my husband’s medigap plan application. Their system apparently is automated, and would not leave a message on my answering device, because the call I was finally present to pick up asked me if I was my husband, who was at work, so I had to say yes in order to get the automated message; and they said his application was approved. Which is really great, because Social Security screwed up the start date of his Medicare Part B, and we had to scramble with paperwork to make sure the Part B start date was in the data system which AARP/United Health Care apparently has access to---or else the app would have been rejected. Phew! Getting old in this country blows, you’ll all find out soon enough how you are going to be drained dry of your lifetime of earnings/more than half of your Social Security will go for health insurance (medigap + non-medicare-eligible individual coverage) because nobody wants to cap medical services and fees. It’s carte blanche, baby. We’re not experienced AARP medigap plan subscribers, but I chose them based on my Mom’s experience with them years ago when she needed medigap insurance, and she was pleased with them. They have very competitive pricing. I’m not an insurance advocate, just an old Hippie-generation lady who is a b--tch on wheels if necessary.
