Calls every night. Never leaves a msg

they are calling me 2x a day.  There is no one on the line.  both when I answer and when I let machine take it.

I pick up the phone but there is no answer.  They are calling every day.

They call once every day, no message left, only shows philadelphia, pa on caller ID. I called back to see who this is and get a Number not in service error message. Must be a scammer company.

I receive calls from this number never any message left. My son answered tonight and they asked if this was Nancy and he said no and they hung up. I called back and it was just a fast busy signal. I looked on intelius and it shows it to be a unlisted land line number. I am not paying to see who it is but they are annoying for sure.

Was getting calls from this number at least 2x daily,  When I finally decided to answer they said they were from a chimney company out of Lancaster, PA.  That appeared strange since area code is 215.  Told them not interested and hung up.  They still call once daily, sometimes in the morning and other times in the evening.  The calls are very annoying.

There is a "chimney sweep" service that operates out of Mt Joy or somewhere nearby in Lancaster County. In the past they have called me incessantly on a "blocked" line. They know me and ask for me by name. I believe that they prey upon older people, retired or seniors. Their main goal is to sell flue liners. They hire wet-behind-the-ears kids to run their trucks and do the work. It is no regard whether liners are needed. I doubt that they are installed properly. I even wonder if they line the entire flue.
I contacted the Attorney General's office regarding the Do Not Call list. They were more interested that this outfit does not follow the rules regarding contractors' registration. The AG staffers probably have way too many cases and are way too understaffed to bother with Do Not Call issues.
I advise simply do not answer calls that you don't recognize.

Number shows in business listings and google searches as belonging to CHIMCO.  
This company is subject of current investigation.

Calling this number results in recording that it is disconnected/not in service.

Robocall, then a person will come on line.  no company showing on caller id, shows Philadelphia, PA.  # belongs to Chimco, Inc/chimco.com.  they ignore being told to put us on their list of no calls.  told we have no chimney; they call back in a day or two anyway and deny having called previously.

This guy calls and says he can clean my chimney and make sure everything is up to date with state codes.  I told him, I have no chimney, I have Geo and I didn't need him.   He sounded like a nit-wit!!!!

They called asking for a family member & hung up when I told them that I was a sibling & not spouse.  They didn't even allow me time to answer question of when my family member would be home.  Number came up as Pennsylvania & did a call back to get message of automatic voice message system @  7172157866 is not available & at tone to leave a message. Left message saying not to call back & will report to BBB for illegal activities.

Repeatedly calling our home at various intervals and times. Never leaving a message. 6 calls in several days. I can never get an answer on line when I do pick up! Hang ups. No recording.
