Gave my name and number to this person who said he was a "licensed electrician" on Craigslist. Come to find out he isn't. Buyer beware!

Don't bother or waste time. While I'm sure there are some reputable people on Craigslist. It's best to go with Angie's List and not schmucks like him who claim they have certifications and don't. I do a background check on every contractor I might potentially do business with because there were many times I was conned and lost money. Not only does he want you to be responsible for obtaining your own parts but pay him for labor and friggin' gas money. And he doesn't even have a professional van or truck. I don't have time or the physical strength to purchase and carry my own hot water heater. If that's the case then I might as well install it my d@mn self or call the gas company.

Do your homework people. Check the internet. You'll be surprised what pops up.
