Got a voice message with a claim number and stated they would be delivering documents to my home or place of employment between 12-5 and good luck.  NO name and what the reference of call was about.  Left claim number and took if I worked out arrangements with them they would stop the garnishment or something.  NEED ASAP or LAWYER

I received a call from 215-995-2730 that stated a formal complaint had been filed against me in my home county.  Mr. Wright (the name he chose) told me that this was not a telemarketer call, and I should call the number back before 6:00pm. They would be able to help me with the complaint.  He, also, ended the call with "Good Luck".   I called my county's clerk of court, and she advised me that there was nothing against me.  I called the magistrate and the sheriff's department to report this crap.  Please, be advised this is a SCAM!!  The phone is not even a registered landline, it just shows up as someone's cell number.  I hope this helps.  And by the way, he also called my mother-in-law to get in touch with me.  I don't know how he got these numbers.

I have been receiving calls that come in as Private Number. I let it go to voice mail and today a woman says her name is Mercedes from some business office that starts with a B which is all I could make out as they talk really fast.   First they never ask for any particular name in my household and they mention no ones name in the message. They said there had been a claim against me. I should call them back and ask for a particular case no.  If I didn't they would file the claim with the County.  I checked this number until I found this site, its no where to be found and then of course......she said Good Luck on your case.

This is the 2nd type call I have had within a year.  Not sure if it was same person calling but similar info like a claim against me. .

    Definitely not a believer
You will not believe how many times I have gotten calls from this place. Two different people calling but always the same song and dance.  One time I did call them just to see wth they were talking about.. I truly believe it is a scam b/c I practically begged them to serve me with papers since they wouldn't be clear what they were talking about.. here we are a year later on the first round of calls and nada... now i started getting this woman calling.. my favorite part of the message is when they say Good Luck.  Seriously.. don't give your credit card information out to anyone over the phone... and dont' make any type of arrangements.  I suggest if there really is a claim, LET THEM SEND IT TO YOU.. I would like to see this crap in my face - its a scam... hate to see innocent people get scammed into giving their hard earned money away.

I got this same call but they were looking for me by my maiden name that I haven't used in 12 years. They also called my step-dad looking for me and one of my sister-in-laws that I have only know 5 years and they told her that I had her down as a reference which I have never done. They also left a message on my husbands phone for me to give me (my maiden name) a message. This is a big scam that I'm not falling for. That is why i never answer numbers I don't recognize.

I got a call from these people (Mr. Ryan) and it turned out to be a debt that I legitimately owed. They directed me as to what to do, made my payment and sent me a receipt. Been trying to clean up my credit for a bit so it was really no biggie. If I didn't owe it, they wouldn't have to have been hounding me down in the first place.

    Angry in Ohio
I also received a call from this number.  They even contacted my sister; how they got her number I don't know, but they keep calling periodically from different numbers with the same song and dance and once I tell them I reporting them to the Attorney General's office, they eventually stop for a whille but then call again from a different number.  I live in Ohio but am from Kansas so my cell number still has one of KS area code so they have even tried calling from a fake number that comes up as a Kansas number.  It is a total scam.  Do not worry about their threats as they are totally idle.

These people are crazy.  They called my ex boyfriend (from 5 years ago) looking for my ex husband(we divorced 8 yrs ago)!  They said they would be pressing charges and gave the number to call back.

I got a call from 215-999-1031, which is different from the phone number this thread is about. I decided to leave a comment anyway, because I believe these phone numbers belong to the same person. I searched the phone number on Google, and apparently it belongs to "Scott Sabo DBA Allpage." I called it through my work phone, and got an automated message saying I won something, etc etc. This is a scam! Beware. I have never been to Philadelphia or anywhere in the state, and I don't know how they could have gotten my information. I have never gotten spam calls on  my private cell line until recently, and I have had a cell phone for over 10 years at this point...

Hi, to the best of my knowledge I haven't had a call from him but had revieved a text message saying from verizon (whom I don't have)saying he added my name my phone number to his account as a personal contact or something. I was told my phone numbers are associated with his cell phone, landline and computer. I was given a partial phone number to him along with most of his address. I was also told before I could get anymore information from them meaning Verizon fraud department I would have to file a complaint then call back then they could help me more. I file the complaint  called the next day all the sudden they had trouble finding it but they did. To make a long story short they claim it isn't fraud and they would call him to ask him to take my number off his account that it was up to him. Then said next breath oh i just found out its another ××× ×××××××× and can now confirm it wasnt me. Although 2 seconds prior couldnt even access his account without me giving them his name. (Sounds fishy to me). This sounds like to me this man is or thinks he is important  which in a way he must be even verizon fraud dept itself doesn't want teally  to get invovled. Verizon is just throwing everyone under the bus it sounds like. Lying is what they do best. Yes even thier fraud dept.

The number I am referring to above that I just commented on is not the same number  though.  I did find a cell phone with that number on it it's a Trac phone which gives the number 6093808218. I found it In my car backseat floor. No one has ever been in the car or the back seat. I have been trying to find out who was in my car at all let alone in the back seat and dropped thier trac phone. Im glad i found this site but now more concerned with who ever it is either intensionally put the phone there or was looking for something. I now beliwve it was intensional by him. Crazy Coincidence! i think there is more going on then we know

Get calls from similar number. Probably from same collector. They called my employer and would not give them any verifiable info on who they were.
