Left no message. Got to be robo call spam. So much for do not call list!!!!!

Yet another person who thinks the DNC list does stuff it actually doesn't. It's not a call blocker or a magical keep-me-from-getting-calls device. It's simply a list legitimate telemarketers follow so they aren't calling people who don't want to hear from them. Charities, surveys, and other non-telemarketers are exempt. And scammers, of course, ignore it completely.  Try an actual call blocker if you get many unwanted calls.

Received a call asking for "Teresa". There's no one here with that name. When I said that the reply was, "well, maybe you can help me". Definitely a telemarketing call.

Another scammer. Blocked.

Actually answered to a man who asked for Kristie, and there is no one here with that name. I say that, and he says they will "try back again later" and there is no message. Do not try again, it is MY phone.

The DNC list is funded by the fees received from legitimate telemarketers.

However, the bad guys ignore the DNC rules, and a good call blocker is indeed helpful

Caller says,,,"Hello , is Barbara there?"   I say, no ,,you have the wrong number,,  Then the lady goes on and says,,well, maybe you can help me,,,and starts a spiel I didnt care about listening to, so I tell them,,no ,I cant,,nor will I help you.  She says,,thank you,,,and hung up.    Obviously a telemarketer.

No, telemarketers sell things.  This is one of the fake charity calls that criminals have set up to enrich themselves.
