Called and did not say anything.  I called the number back and it is a number that is no longer in service.

DNC, thanks for posting this. I got a call from this number today and thought of calling back, but after reading your post figured it was probably better not to.

Best thing to do is let all calls go to voice mail except for those numbers you recognize.

I use a canned message for my voice mail. I don't leave the number. If anyone I know can't leave a message than I probably don't want to talk to them.

Starve these beasts and lobby D.C. to MAKE THEM STOP.

this is spam.fraud telemarker call, they ask me (voice of a lady0 to talk to the person that pays for Dominion  Gas from Cleveland, Ohio ...they never call you ..don t talk to them.

Missed their call. No message left.

This is a SCAM.

A female called from 216-240-5521 at 1p.m. asking "May I speak to the Dominion gas payer". I asked 'Who is this'? They mumbled something about such and such energy co. Then she hung up. I tried to call back and she kept hanging up on me. Then the message switched to one that says' The number you have reached is incorrect, etc". I believe the scammer recorded this message to put in the voice message.

Then they started calling from 'UNKNOWN'.

DO NOT give these people ANY information. They will switch your gas provider or worse. In fact, report them to the police.

I do not answer my phone unless I know the caller. I have put this telephone number in my contact list as 'SCAMMER' so I recognize a douche when they call.
