They call for one of our CEOs and never leave a voice mail because, "The message would just be too long." I am sure that they want a donation of some sort. Gary, thanks for the Heirtage Foundation tip!

My caller ID screen shows this number preceded by "Beechwood, Ohio"  Call records show multiple calls usually two at a time.  Glad to learn I can ignore them.

They call at least a couple times a week, never leave a message and I'm on a do not call registry. How do I get rid of these pests?

Some lady said she was from childrens cancer something or other!

Just got a call from this number.  No ID, no message.  Jerks.

Rude person.  I asked to be removed if they were a charity and rude chick said that's not what call was about.  Yeah, right!

Says "Beachwood, OH". Soliciting donations for "children's cancer".  Probably one of those sham "charities" that sends $0.50 to cancer research for every $100.00 they collect.  

They're coming out of the woodwork now.  It's 9:11 am and I've already received 3 calls; answered this one.  I work from home and hate being disrupted by these calls.  They are like insistent, bratty children.

I try to ignore them, but with relatives all over the country, you stop what you're doing and go to the phone to check caller id.  Very disruptive.

A good policy: If caller id only displays a city and state, pass it by.

Call came from Cleveland, Ohio at 17:49-J on 4-28-2014. Call not answered and no message left. Caller ID said Unavailable. Unknown company, but others advise Children's Cancer Research.

Wanted to speak with a specific employee.  I asked if the call was for fundraising.  They said yes.  I told them to go to our company website and submit the charitable giving forms. Also, specific calls to employees during work hours was not permitted and take our number off the call list.

The operator stated I would have to speak with her supervisor.  He came on immediately and asked if we wanted to be on the "Do Not Call" list, I said yes.  He said it was now taken care of, apologized for the inconvenience and thanked me.

Always tells these types of calls to take your number off the call list.... ALWAYS!!

A woman called wanting to speak to the owner of the company.  When told that the owner is unavailable and asked if they'd like to leave a message, she says that it's important but not urgent so she will just call later.

Call came in at 10:15am, no message.  Said Beachwood, OH and we don't answer City-State or unknown numbers now as they are almost always junk calls.  Which is sad as we run a business from home, too, and as the person said above, it is very distracting plus we wonder if we've missed a potential client call, but they would leave a message.  If I do happen to answer it and it is a fundraising call, for cancer or whatever, I tell them that I will no longer donate ANYTHING that has been phone driven and refuse to.  I donate by mail only after I've had a chance to check out the internet reports whether the cause is worthy, so they are wasting their time and mine by calling, and to remove my number.

Lady called from Beachwood OH collecting for children's cancer center/research in Texas asking for a donation(Really!).  Then claiming (and this part is funny) that we said we would and never sent payment last year.  That's  funny cause we NEVER give to phone solicitations and only give to LOCAL organizations and/or families.  These people will get there money when they sell everyone's number to the next set of scammer's.
