The caller said they were Cobb EMC.  We live in the Atlanta area and we get our electricity from Cobb EMC.  However, this call was from a location in Ohio as indicated by the area code.  I asked the caller if he was calling from Cobb EMC, why was the area code 216?  He said, I don't know.  He asked if we would be voting November 15.  I said we would if that's the date for voting in our area.  Then he hung up.
I since checked to see when there would be voting in our area and it is November 8.
This call could not have come from Cobb EMC, of course.  Cobb EMC is in Cobb County, GA.

I had two calls this morning from this number. The area code is the same as mine so it didn't raise concern but when I answer no one responds.
