I got a call from this number.

i got a call from this number, and the ID was BCFA. Who is that?

Phone rang @ 6:32PM-------how convient right @ supper time. Woman asked for my husband by name---she had NOT identified herself so I said who is calling? Gave her name fast & claimed she's w breast cancer foundation........I said are you aware we're on do not call list?? she got real smart & said she needed to talk w/ him......I said maam have a nice day & I hung up. How clever----initials BCFA on caller ID & phone # below it. I do NOTHING like that over phone & right @ mealtime!! Just another crooked telemarketer!!!!! Low life!

What does being on the Do Not Call list have to do with respect to this caller?  Since they are not selling goods or services to those who they call, they cannot access the DNC list. They have no idea which numbers are on it and no way to find out.  If the DNC website was up, you could read the Information for Consumers and learn what type of calls are covered and what types are not.

I've had three calls from this number.  Same lady every time asking for Jeanie. All three times asked her not to call again. She just talks right over me.  

This number called me today.

Called this morning, no message left.  I called back and it has a recording that it is Breast Cancer Financial Funds.  Probably just a scam company trying to get money because they don't have real jobs.  I would NEVER give money to an organization I never heard of or know nothing about!  I give to fundraisers of people I know and there are alot of those around nowadays locally.   You can get on their DNC list.  I called back and did it.  Takes THIRTY DAYS!  I will keep track and see if it works.  If not, I will block their calls.  I think they are also associated with Life Giving Moments, who called me about 10 minutes after this call from 815-687-8080.  Recording is the same voice and I "believe" I called earlier and was taken off their DNC list...know when I call back, it doesn't do anything.  

Leaves no message.  BCFA on caller I.d. Called the number back, dead line.  Will not even connect.  How are these people getting away with this nonsense?  Very annoying!

The phone rang at 8:20 am this morning. It just said Cleveland OH. The woman was talking so fast I couldn't get her name but caught something about breast cancer. When she wound down I told her it was 8:20 in the MORNING. She said she didn't want to overwhelm me and could I give just $15. I repeated it was 8:20 in the MORNING and hung up on her. These dam people get on my nerves! 99% of them are scams.

The do not call list does NOT apply to charities!

A very cheerful woman said "hello, is _____ th"
She didn't finish saying the word "there" because she realized she was listening to my answer machine talk.  She then hung up.

to be exempt it has to be the actual charity calling - not a 3rd party calling on behalf - which is what this is - therefore you should file a complaint if you are on the no call list - they are actually using the name of a legit non profit out of WI (Milwaukee)

So its a scam

and ANY company can sign up to access the DNC - they just don't want to pay the fee

only the ACTUAL charity itself is exempt from the no call list - 3rd parties are not

These people will not leave you alone!

Call after call from these pushy people.  I just let the machine pick up...they always use my first name and ask "are you there?"  Like I'm gonna think it's my best friend and pick up.  Right.  Read out is always BCFA.

I keep getting calls from this number as well as 14 other numbers (continue to grow) saying the factory warranty on your car....................... or even better, The FBI.........................................  These are all robo calls.

www.bcfaf.org/ is where these people are from. if you dont submit in writing to them not to call they will continue. but of corse they will not provide and address over the phopone. but Google will lead you too one on their website.

Woman wanting donations to help cancer patients...asked if I would help...I said NO....she said "we'll just put you down for $15.00 then"...I asked her what part of NO did she not understand...I further stated NO means NO, it does not mean $15.00.  Then I hung up on her.  I prefer to choose my own charities, thank you very much, and I will NEVER contribute to a charity that telemarkets.  I am not coldhearted and have spent thousands to help personal friends who've had cancer, but I am not contributing a penny to a scam artist organization that uses rude people to harass others.

Why doesn't the gddam gov INVESTIGATE this peculiar type of DOMESTIC TERRORISM.
