It's a telemarketer!  I was looking more information on scholarships that were available and was still getting calls from this # 6 months later.  Said they were an academic advisor

Got a call from this number at 10:45PM. Didn't answer and there was no message.

Recently started getting calls from a variety of numbers, including this one; and one text... so far. I don't answer, they leave no voice mail.

This sort of thing on my home and business lines is why I almost exclusively use cell phone now. Wonder what I will have to migrate to next?

I called the number back they give the option to remove your number from the call list

posted my resume on capitalareahelpwanted.com and they have called my house 4 times in the last 1 1/2 hours! I never said I wanted to go back to school!

person at this number calls and is rude and short alson made me feel scared.

please stop calling and being rude to my family its almost on the border line terrorist. I'm getting really worried and am thinking of calling the proper authorities in this matter.

received a call from this number shows academic adviser left no message.   also from 2162825538 showing the same thing on caller id left no message either.  then two more calls from 5714410162 not showing anything.  I assume they are linked together as they call came within 10-15 minutes of one another. None left messages

Just rcvd. 2nd call from this #. Spoke to the guy claiming to be an "academic advisor". Was not rude in any way but I don't recommend answering these calls. This caller also has no consideration for time zone differences.

I've received this call for like the 100 time already from "Academic Advisor"...what a crock of sh*t. I'm not even in school. I always send them to my voicemail just like I do all the other [***] telemarketers, donations, surveys etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.....

I don't mean to go off on a rant. but geez can't a person have a home phone without all these [***] calling you all the time...I know I know they don't have to abide by the DNC Registry (which I'm on) if they're seeking donations, charities, opinion polls and whatever else. It just pisses me off that there's no way to get them to stop calling. I use call screening/block but I can only block like 20 numbers and the little [***] call from different numbers ☻

They keep calling my house non stop at all damn hours!! On the caller ID it comes up Academic Advisor. They just called at 8:45 PM once again. I swore at him and told him to never call again!!

Sorry, but I called the number back and they give you the option of removing yourself from their caller list. They call me again and they will be reported to the BBB!!

Just got a call from this number after posting a resume on Monster. Baaaaaaad Monster!

I got a phone call identified on my caller ID as "academic advisor" from this number, too. It was after I, like others,  put in an application for employment. I put mine through snag-a-job. Now there may not be any connection, but I have just started looking for a part-time job online-and this is my first and only one so far. Less than ten minutes later, I received another call which came up on my caller Ias "out of area". I do not answer phone calls from people I don't know anymore as I have had enough of people calling and bothering you repeatedly with things you don't want to buy or suspiciously trying to get money or info, etc.  The 216-282-5538 number also came up, upon research, as 100% spam and not a valid number; also as "may have "spoofed caller ID". At any rate, people may want to watch this number and exercise caution if deciding to respond and sign up for anything.

Signed up yesterday with Jobs.com - unchecked the box that says I'm interested in being contacted about educational courses - today I've gotten calls from two different "continuing education" telemarketing companies. Never got them before - go figure!
