Sais they were from the Compliance Fraud Division through the State of California. Allegedly they sent me a letter that I was supposed to respond to in 10 days so there is two formal allegations about to b filed against me so call back compliance officer as to not be blind sided from the Police Dept via San Joaquin County. I called and lady that left msg said her computer was down and she couldn't bring up my case. She would call me back once the systems was back up  see if we can resolve this. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE HECK THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT. PROBABLY A COLLECTOR AND THEY TRICKED ME AND I FELL FOR THERE LATEST SNEAKY TACTICS AND MISREPRESENTATION OF WHO THEY WERE. WHAT A DUMMY I AM, I KNOW CALIFORNIA DOESNT HAVE A 216 PREFIX

IF they call again demand something IN WRITING that is MAILED to you.  Expect excuses & threats (meaningless).

Phone  calls & emails  mean nothing

Most likely a garden-variety debt collection scam.  Basically they are trying to scare you into paying them something.

An arrest warrant is only issued by a  judge (or magistrate);  it  authorizes law enforcement to arrest the person named in the warrant for a specific crime.  Warrants are applied for by law enforcement  by way of an affidavit that sets up   probable cause that

    (1) a crime was committed and
    (2) that the person named in the warrant committed it.

Warrants  are only served by duly constituted officers of the law.

Being in ordinary civil debt is not a crime and you cannot be arrested for it.  Debt collectors have no influence on the criminal justice system and have nothing to do with it.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

    1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
    2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
    3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  DIME  until the debt is validated.

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.

    If they are bothering you,

    Report them:

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection  (Threatening arrest or criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a clear violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act)

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.  If you can find them.

They also call from  216-302-2566.  Same type of threats.  ID themselves as MRS Associates or something similar.  Most likely a phony ID.

a Natia Bryant told me that so was a prince georges compliance officer tellng me that I have "pending allegations" against me.  Does she not know that allegations are not charges!  No one gets caled to court on allegations in civil matters.  She did not state what it was in reference too.  The jokes on her I don't live in Maryland and not in prince georges county jurisdiction!

Just hang up on this call they are with no government and are perpetrating a fruad!
