This is a scam caller with an Indian accent claiming to be with the IRS.   Do not give them your ss#

This foreign person claiming to be the IRS is steadily harassing me. I have asked him for his IRS identification number and they hang up.

The first round of calls I got was from a no-name guy with a heavy accent, 'though it was difficult to place the accent.  Now the caller has almost no accent, but the name that came up on my Caller ID was "F. Aaliyah."  For what that's worth.

I have received several calls and finally I was able to speak with a person with a foreign accent claiming they were the IRS as soon as I requested my address and SS# they hanged up on me.

I received a call last night from this phone number.  The caller ID was an Indian name, but it was a robo call with a woman's voice saying ( name was obliterated) was filing a lawsuit against me.

As Fred above wrote: "the name that came up on my Caller ID was F. Aaliyah" and the caller said the I.R.S. was filing a lawsuit against me. But there are two people living in the house who file different tax returns so if the call was real they would have identified one of us. I heard about this scam before and found these sites below to be relieving.

They called hubby, threatening him and asking how much he can pay right now. I called the deal IRS and reported it to the tigta.gov website.

Received a call from this number.  The woman stated that I was "receiving this call because the IRS is filing lawsuits against " meand I need to call this number as soon as possible to be given the case number.  I know, for a fact, that the IRS does not call anyone!  They mail any concerns they may have with your taxes, ect. I am on the do not call list, as well as unpublished and unlisted,  So annoying!

I received a voice mail on my cell phone to call the number back. So I did. There was a guy with a very heavy Indian accent. He verified my phone and my address. He claimed to be from the IRS and that  I had reported some tax information incorrectly in 2009 and 2010. He also said that I would be arrested if I did not pay them $6,000. And if I did not pay, I would be arrested. He claimed that in 2013 I was send documentation but he would not supply or explain in any detail what was reported wrong.
This is crazy... Don't pay.

Its calling for lawsuit. Lol. IRS likes there certified letters to much to call me. And the person never gave me the IRS identification number. Not my first rodeo Foreign dude

Yep! Said I had a warrant for money owed to the IRS. Over $6,000. They would arrest me, if I didn't pay. I said, "let me call my tax preparer. I have insurance through them, for this. Then I'll call you back."

The caller was a "debt collector" for the IRS. Unfortunately, my hand hit the post button, before I was done.

Returned call, fellow has Indian accent, asked his location, said, "Washington, DC". Asked me to provide my phone number, refused. Ask to speak to his supervisor, hung up. Sounded like a "boiler room" operation. This is my third call from "IRS", filing a police report.

Message was left also stating that they were the IRS, and I was being sued, which was a obvious lie.  I am going to contact IRS and report this and my local police department, local BBB.

The same issue as everybody else. They call and leave voice mail messages that the are from IRS. Can any body stop them?

Automated message in a robotic female voice saying, "We have been trying to reach you. This is the IRS and this is your final warning. We are filing a lawsuit against you. You must call us back at 216-376-0417." Uhhh NOPE. Nice try, scammer. Caller ID said Ohio.

Calling my home, cell and family members numerous times. Told family member he had a lawsuit against me. When I asked what they name of the company was.  The Gentleman with Indian accent said he was from IRS when I asked the name again, he said Internal Revenue Service. I repeated and he hung up.
