Got a call too, like I owe to IRS, I am not, I paid years ago what I owe. Scam! IRS should send a notice first.

•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I keep getting calls from a fake IRS saying you owe them money. It's a scam!!  please report the number to the real IRS.

jonathan smith ... indian guy saying i owed money and ill be in custody . Called him back and said [***] you been phone tapped.

Today, I received two phone calls from this number stating that the IRS was filing claims on me. Also, the person (who was male) instructed me to call back immediately.   He had a threatening voice that induced fear.

Received 6 calls since yesterday. All pre-recorded. I AM NOT CALLING THIS NUMBER BACK!! If the IRS was corresponding, it would come by mail!

Some one is calling from this number saying they are the IRS, when asked for ID, they do not answer and they hang up, when I call back they started giving me run around... Be careful!!!!

Received call from 216-404-2522 asking me to call them back at the same number. The call to me was a recording. It stated it was the IRS. I called them back and a someone with a foreign accent answered and asked me for my phone number. I asked him was the calls were in reference too. He stated that he had to have my phone number first. I asked him what country he was from and he hung up on me. So if you get a call from this number.....call them back and waste as much of their time as possible. It will waste yours as well but it will give you some satisfaction that you bothered them.
