very strange and very obscene.  Tried to sound official, came at 1:30 am.  I checked the postings for what I may have done and my profile doesn't fit anyone elses.  I did recently leave my number at some costume stores in the Cleveland area.

My dear,

It is my pleasure to contact you for a business venture which I and my Sister, intend to establish in your country. Though we have not met with you before but we believe, one has to risk confiding in someone to succeed sometimes in life. There is this amount of TWELVE Million US Dollars ($12.000.000.00) which  our late father deposited with a security company in Abidjan Capital city of Cote d'Ivoire which he  wanted to used for his political ambition in our Country before he was assassinated. Now we have decided to invest this money in your country or anywhere safe enough outside Africa for security and  political reasons.
We want you to help us claim and receive the  consignment which will be sent to you through diplomatic means to your address to avoid any traces of the funds and to enable you plan for the investment in your Country. We will like to invest part of the money into these three investments in your Country but, if there is any other business that is better than our suggestion, we will be very glad to follow your advice.

When I got this call, I was enjoying the first beautiful day of spring by sitting on my roof, listening to music, and smoking a j. I was feeling happy as pie whenever I got the phone call from this horribly creepy scammmer; The operator went over the relay instructions with me and I was completely high and confused and waited for about 2 minutes pondering who it could be before the extremely softly young operator asked me in a monotonous voice "have you ever thought about slicing your wrists and body with a knife and then letting hummingbirds lick your blood off of you like it's nectar?" Right away I started shaking and my heart was pounding and I tried to ask the operator who it was and she wouldn't answer me but the voice came back and said "I'm your best friend." I waited for responses and I got something asking me what my favorite shoe was and then another telling me to 'get ironic b***h.'  The last thing that was said to me before the operator hung up was "one day you will build a small remote island out of corn cobs south of kuwait, the date for this is projected to be around July."

I'm very shaken up about it.  The strangest thing about it is that I did post an ad on Craigslist about an ipod and I got the same bu***hit email that all of you did about having to mail it Africa and he would pay me 100 dollars more if I mailed it immediately. He was telling me personal things about how is brother is depressed etc and needs to have it right away so he can "stop lamenting." I just don't understand how the company is both connected with prank calling people AND scamming people. It's obviously the same company.

I am so freaked out.

received a e-mail concerning puppies I had in the paper for sale.  The translater said the caller wanted to purchase all three puppies I had left.  I as given an email address:  fuade3@yahoo.com so that I could contact the buyer who "had hearing problems."  In the emails we exchanged, the buyer was very evasive and did not want to give me any information about himself or herself.  Just wanted my information in order to send me a money order. Just like Johns.....

The caller "fuade3" is a Nigerian scammer using an "IP Relay" and you can find a bunch of other names and addresses he uses (including SWANSEA COLE
<fuade@yahoo.com> and swansea cole <fuade3@yahoo.com> and "Miniature Bull Terrier Puppies" <mbtpuppies4sale@yahoo.com> on this web page:
 http://www.hay-scams.com/Inyang.htm

We tag him as "Patric Etim Atim Inyang".

He wants to send you a counterfeit check or money order that is made out for more than the asking dollar amount and then wants you to wire the excess money to his accomplice who sends the money out of the US.  The  counterfeit check bounces about 3 weeks later and you owe the bank for the money that was wired out.
