Recording saying that I have a pending investigation. This matches the exact same recording that I received the other day from a different number. They wanted me to pay to clear the investigation.

Male voice stating the call was documented and without a response, the case would be sent to the state. Did not identify himself, who he supposedly representing, or how the call was for. Do not answer calls you do not recognize and do not give info over the phone. Too many scams out there. Obviously if a case was pending, someone would know about it.

Male just left me a message stating i wave my rights to a defender.  Have no idea who this would be. No earlier contact by mail.  do not answer, very suspicious.  I would call this a scam

Same recording for me. Scam! I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize..

Same call with a different return number, no one identifies themselves.

Call came from UNKNOWN so I didn't answer it but message was the same as others.  Had to laugh.  Guy did not identify himself but said the same, that if I did not respond, that my case would be sent to the state.  Nice southern accent!  Haha

Got the same message, scam.

this is a documented call on record and i am hereby notified that i waive my right to counsel and my file will be turned over to the state if i do not call back. no name, no company, no state mentioned (though it is coming from Ohio). SCAM

First I got a guy calling me from another number.  Saying that this is a recorded call. and that if they don't here back from me or my retained lawyer.  That my case will be sent to the states.  Then I got another call from this number from a Mrs. Conner Stating I needed to call back right away and if they don't here from me by 5 tonight that my stuff will be sent off to court and I will be called into a court haring.

These guys call using a robodialer with a recording stating you're under investigation and if you don't contact their office today they will document the file that you have waived your right to counsel and submit the file to the state. If you answer, the end of the recording will prompt you to press 1 to speak with someone. If you don't answer, the end of the recording (on your voice mail) will tell you to call them by the end of the day.
Of course, they're not going to submit anything to anywhere and counsel is a constitutional right that can't be waived simply by not returning someone's call by the end of the day.
These guys are trying to extort money from people who don't know any better. Don't fall for it. If nobody pays them, they can only do this for so long before they'll go broke and have to go get a real job. Please don't let them scare you into paying them anything!
