I get several phone calls per day from this company. they never leave a message and hang up if you answer

I've been getting calls from this number for several weeks to my home phone.  Never leave a message.  It's very annoying.  I'm also on the Do-Not-Call registry.

This number calls 2-3 times a day and I'm sick of if

calls 2 - 3 times per day.  I don't answer it because a message has never been left.

Like everyone else on this forum I too have been receiving several calls a day from this number. I called DirecTV as suggested and left a message. Then I called the phone number (216-453-1979) - someone answered. I verified that I got the number I dialed, then told them that I had received calls from them for weeks. I told them I was on the Federal Do Not Call registry and wanted them to remove my phone number from their system and stop calling me. The woman read my phone number from her caller id and said they would do it. If you see no more posts from me on this forum then you'll know it worked!

Calling our house 3 times a day, no message on voice mail.

I receive calls from this number several times a day, every day.  How can I put an end to these calls?

I found out how to make my daily calls stop.  May be a coincidence but maybe not... I followed one of the earlier comments where the poster stated that the calls came from commerce energy.  I went to commerce energy's website and they have a link called ask the ceo... I sent an email complaining that I was getting these phone calls and they refused to stop coming and that this phone number was on on Do Not Call national list.  Everytime I got a phone call, I reported it to the National Do Not Call lists report a violation. I then copied the link from that site and sent it each and everytime to the Ask a CEO link on Commerce Energies site.  After three days, I got a response from Commerce Energy stating that the number has been removed from any telemarketing lists and within 24 hours of that, my calls stopped. I have not had calls in about 3 weeks and I was getting 2-3 a day... Not sure if it will work for you, but it finally did for me... I filed about 10-12 vioation reports and emails to commerce energy before it stopped.

I did a return call from caller ID on this number (216-453-1979) and got an answer from a very rude woman answering it as COMMERCE ENERGY. When I asked what that was, she said it was a service to help lower credit card rates. I don't even have any credit cards. I told her to take me off their list. She hung up abruptly so I called back and the same lady answered. I made sure that my number came up on her caller ID. She said it would take up to 72 hours. I then scrolled down on this site and saw a number to report this to and did that as well. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Same details as everyone else - calls multiple times, never leaves a message.  When I do answer, no one there.

Called # today, and girl answered "Commerce Energy".  I told them to remove our #, she said it would be taken care of immediately.

Calls every day with no message. This is the second number I have searched for on 800notes that has had a tie to Direct TV. I am a new costomer of theirs and gave no permission to sell my info to any one.
If you are also subscribers to Direct TV call their consumer complaints dept.at
1-877-608-3539, and leave a message. They ask for a speciffic number that you are having trouble with, but I told them to remove me from all lists. Thank you John for putting it together for me.

This number called the law firm I work for and asked for the attorney.  I told the caller that he was not in and they said they would call back.  They would not leave a message.

I'm getting 2 to 3 calls a day from DRD Inc DBA Pow, they leave no message on my answering machine, I so want this to stop. I'll call the # John gave, makes sense..Direct TV is trying to work it's way back into our area after being tossed out.  Thank you

These rat bastards called, and we didn't answer.

Instinctively, I checked here, and sure enough, they have been at it for quite a while.
