Jim fox - 16 Apr 2007Caller Direct TV a month ago to ask about their services, and they are now calling almost daily. I would not mind hearing from them if they'd have someone on the line when they call. This auto-dialing is very distractive and irritating.

Ashley in Seattle - 21 Apr 2007I got the same annoying calls, around twice a day. They never left messages and when I finally picked up my phone, there was no one on the line.
I finally called them back today, and they said it was DirecTV responding to an inquiry I placed online. They wanted to know if I still wanted service, which was funny because I just had the service hooked up yesterday.

Chanelle - 21 Mar 2008THis same number calls me at tleast three times a day never leave a message and they dont even call until 8pm and i even got a call from them at 4am! That is alittle much for me. I would never use them i have dish network.

Theresa - 9 Jan 2008They call me daily too. They stopped for a while and then started back up again. We made several inquiries about their services but we haven't made our mind up yet. I wish they'd leave me alone so I can make my mind up.

Dennis - 18 Oct 2007There's a loop-hole in the DNC registry. They can call people on the list as long as there's "an existing business relationship"... inquiring about service and giving them your number technically establishes that relationship.

I'm scared - 19 Oct 2007I went online to get direct tv 4 months ago and now i keep getting phone calls and tonight a guy called and verified my name address and pretty much all my information and said he would hook up my direct tv for 25 dollars. and i would get the first month free and wouldnt have to pay any fees. I just hope he doesnt come to my house when i'm not expecting him. even though i told him i didnt want it
