Asked for me by first name, would only leave a message with "tell him mike called.."  "just mike"

Have called numerous times.  Caller ID says Local Area Call and the number.  Caller hangs up when the answering machine kicks in.  Very annoying.

Caller was absolutely the most obnoxious person I have ever encountered.  I only answered the phone because I was tired of seeing this number come up on my caller ID.  Refused to stop talking when I asked to be put on the "do not call" list.  I was actually screaming into the phone and he totally ignored me, (other than to say this was not a recording) even when I told him my father was dying and I was not in the mood to be bothered to solicitors.  He never stopped reading from his script until I finally hung up on him.

Just 3 rings, then hangs up before I answer. Maybe just trying to meet a quota. Shows as local area call but the area code is Cleveland.

says he's from a purple heart association and is a fundraiser - first, seems misleading in that he implies he himself is a purple heart recipient; secondly he calls me by my first name (an annoying new habit of phone soliticers...what has happened to manners???) and finally, puts me to his billing specialist who (and this really annoys me) tells me how I"ll pay and when...no, it's my money, I'll say manner, and I'll say in what time frame, thank you very much.

Received this phone call on 8-15-11 @ 8:36pm.  & shows up local area call.  My son said it was for myself.  I asked him "man" or "woman"?  He said a woman, although it could have been a man that sounded like a woman.  I asked my son, "did they leave a name"?  He said, "no" & that "maybe they'd call back later".  Right off the bat, this sounded like a "fishy" phone call & from the looks of the above  comments is.  Keep reporting this one, but I wouldn't bother answering this one.  People are getting smarter trying to screw others.

Really? Well then, "Dallas", why don't you explain to us why you're popping in here & telling us this then?
No one is going to go to that link. Except the people that are going to dissect it. Why don't you help out here. Go ahead & post the valid, physical address to LHR. We will quickly determine where they are. Who owns them. If they exist. Their servers, their IPs, where they're licensed, what they do, how they do it etc. Do you really want to do this?

Isn't the point of the board to identify who the caller is? From the looks of the post, people are labeling it "non-profit" and trying to discern who the caller is. Are you trying to imply that I work for them or somethiong? Not really understanding the harsh tone in your response.

The reason I came in here was because I was receiving calls from their numbers and trying to identify who they are for my database that I keep on callers. Pardon me for trying to help out.
