Juyst received a call, claimed to be calling 'on behalf of Save the Children'.  Caller ID showed only "WIRELESS CALLER".  Told them we were on the DNC list, and she said they were a charity and exempt from it (true), so I told her to place our number on *their* do not call list, and that we didn't want to hear from them again.  Blacklisted the number via the Ooma.

I give monthly to 'save the children' foundation. I got a call a few months back from a cell phone # claiming they were calling from 'save the children'. I was almost convinced but the caller was so pushy about me giving money over the phone instead of sending in the mail to the headquarters that I got suspicious and I hung up. This # called me today and I googled it and a personal ad with a pic for an escort/prostitute showed up. This is definitely a scammer.

I received a missed call from this number. They did not leave a message. When I went to 411.com and looked this number up it showed as "Verizon Wireless mobile phone from Cleveland, OH".

I also give to Save the Children regularly. I'm going to check and see if they know about this number.

I received a call from thi number but did not pick up. I am also a Save The Children annual donor. It sounds like they got a copy of the mailing list.

Just received a call did not pick-up since I did not recognize the number.  I sponsor a child thru Save the Children too.  Definitely sounds to be a breach of some sort based on everyone here.

I also sponsor the Save The Children. I didn't answer since I do not know the number. No message left, though. I have never received a phone call from STC for my 3 years sponsorship period. I agree it could be a scam.

Received a call but didn't pick up and no message left. I've been a donor to STC for about a year and they've never called. Just an hour before I also got a call from this number who I also cannot identify accept it's from a place in Illinois or Ohio. 8475275370

Hi, I have never given to Save the Children but they called my home number like twice this week.  Did not leave message nor do I answer!  Why would Save the Children call anyway from a cell phone?????  My guess is that SCAM folks tapped into the STC database or since we never gave, some other database???????  Have a Blessed 2014 Easter!  My advice, ignore call and do not waste your time!  Take care as there are so many SCAM artists out there over the phone thanks to intrenet, I even wonder if Publishers Clearinghouse is a con or not?????????????????

I've received 6 calls from thi number in the past 2 weeks.  I'm glad I Googled the number and found this site.

I would like this number to stop calling me.
