Got a call from this number. After some digging found out that this number is associated with Midland Funding ?!?! Are they collectors?

Received a call on 08/20/07 @ 9:09 am and on 08/21/07 @ 11:18 am. Neither call left a message.

I get 3 calls everyday from this number, they don't leave a message, even when they talk to someone at the house, they do not say what they want or what's the reason behind those phone calls, it's very annoying

got a call from this number.. I answered it and the line was blank for 26secs as i held the line. hung up after that so i still dont know who it is.

They've called me several times in a two day time span and would either  not talk or were very rude and would not tell me why they were calling until I got aggitated and told them that unless I knew what it was about I would not tell my husban the message. But they still persisted in wanting information on my husband, which I did not give them. They just called again at 12:05 p.m. and when I answered they said nothing and hung up on me. These people seem like they are very shady and I feel that they are personal Identity thieves. They get extremely aggitated if they are not allowed to speak with a certain person and either hang up or become rude and short. We need to find a way to stop them before someone loses everything.

I get the same problem here as everybody else. What's worse is that they are calling my cellphone and wasting my minutes when I pick up.

I just got a new phone number.  This phone number keeps showing up on my caller ID.  When I have been at home to answer the call, nothing is said and then they hand up.  It is very annoying and I don't even know who or what they want.

Today I Finally Experienced "Robo Receptionist" ,A Computer Voice, Advising Me That They Were Trying To Collect A Debt & Left A 1-800 Number
For Us To Return Call To.
When We Tried Number It Was A Bad Number.

This number has been calling my cell phone multiple time a day for the past 3 weeks! It's extremely annoying because they NEVER say anything! I have no idea what they want. I wonder if a cease and desist letter would be effective?

Answered a call from this number ... it was an automated voice telling me there was a confidential message for a person I had never heard of. It warned me against listening to the message if I was not that named person or their spouse, federal violation etc.  I assume this is also to do with collections.  It provided an 800 number to call and pick up the message I think but I hung up before the message was finished for fear of a scam.

Just got a call from this company at 748pm i didn't answer but searched the web for info and found this site. Sounds like a scam going on to me.

got 4 calls from this number today and 7 yesterday. not a soul answers the phone, i just get referred to an 800 umber for an unknown reason. would a do not call request work??

i have received dozens of phone calls from this number and i have no affiliations with them whatsoever

I receive automated calls from these people several times a day. But worse, I just received a call from my elderly mother - who received a personal (not automated) call from these creeps pumping her for information!

I do not know who they are trying to collect for, but that creditor will not receive a dime from me.

Get calls from them daily..they are a debt collector..in my case I think they are calling from Beneficial/Household Realty because I have mail from said "law firm"..I don't talk to debt collectors (if I had any money, would they be calling me?) so I'm just assuming here...
