got a text, 216 is from Ohio.  Don't know anyone from Ohio

Mercyflight Pilot free <?> Phone...No clue...Got a txt to call this number...Came from my wife's phone. Possibly Cplam (cell-spam) ?

I got a text from a 300 something area code saying "Life sucks, anyway happy Halloween" on 10/31/2007 and the next text from same number said call me asap at 216-766-8476.  Since I don't have long dist. or a call plan on my phone (text only) i researched number on white pages and saw it was a hoax.  I dunno how someone got my number anyways.

Got a forward text from a friend that said "Need to talk to you but my phone is almost dead call me at 216 766 8476 please!"  Since it was a forward I didn't call - like mentioned before, it is probably cell spam.

I got this text message from my bff:
"Hey something just happened that i really need to talk to you about my phones about to die please call this number and talk to me 216 766 8476"
My 1st response was 'why the hell would i call a number outside my area code to talk to her,' so I googled it. It's fake. Don't call it.

My daughter got the same forward on her cell phone from a friend. Well... she called it. But she used our home phone to make the call. Some how this number locked our home phone line up! Now we are trying to get it unlocked.

I was texting a friend back and forth when a text popped up that said " call 2167668476" i responded and asked why? they asked why what?? so i looked up the number and this is what i found. I didnt call the number and dont plan too.

I received a txt msg today from my cousin with the words" my cell is dying, call me at 2167668476 asap". i called and got the sex hotline number.. my cousin said he didn't send it.. weird...

I got a text to call the number from a friend, text'd her back to find out why and she said it was funny. SO I did and all it is a sexaholics annoyomas hotline.  That's it. It doesn't freeze up your phone or anything people.

I just got a text from one of my good friends saying, "Hey i need to talk to u but my phone is about to die call me at 216-766-8476 real fast it is important..."  My thought, "why the hell would he want me to call that number and why couldn't he just call me himself from that number."  he's def. not in Ohio, so here i am...not calling...
i don't like that the caller id even said it was from him instead of from an unknown or something like that.

Got a text last night from my son, the beginning says "original message" then goes on with the same old crap for me to call 216-766-8476. I didn't call, decided to "google" the # first.. then call if it was ligit. Found this instead.

I get a text from my ex that said he needed to talk to me but his cell was about to die. It was forwarded about 4 times and it looked weird since he's got a girlfriend and he has me on MSN, so I checked it out and found this.

you people are ridiculous, theres no big deal about calling the number, its just a funny voicemail to listen too.  It doesn't tie up phone lines or bill your phone anything, its just a prank text to send someone and its funny. and I am amazed that anyone even uses this website too look up phone numbers before you call, as if you're scared.  you people watch too many movies.

i didnt look up the number skeez- ive called it before and think its funny.  i was trying to see if they had a website b/c i thought it was a funny voicemail and that maybe the website would be cool to forward to firends also. this link came up in my search.  does that answer your question?
